PLEASANT SERVICE RECEIVED FROM RAMON KRUGER AT SKV ATTORNEY INC
I consulted with SKV Attorneys and I was assisted by Ramon Kruger, He really welcomed us well and He gave us the assurance of how He will handle the matter. So far the service is pleasant and hope it will continue like that until the matter is finished.

If I could score them lower than a 1 star, I would!
My experience with SKV was disappointing, to say the least. While I could detail their poor communication and even mention how my lawyer ignored my instructions on one occasion, I’ll focus on a specific incident that highlights their lack of professionalism. When I received a blank invoice from them and tried to address the issue, I was met with rudeness instead of assistance. Rather than acknowledging the problem or providing the correct invoice, they attempted to read a statement of accounts to me. Despite my repeated clarification that I needed the invoice, they responded with disrespect. They falsely accused me of not paying on time, went as far as calling me “senseless” and “opportunistic,” and unjustly claimed I was refusing to pay—when all I wanted was the correct document. I eventually received the invoice, but it was accompanied by a half-hearted, non-apology, along with a claim that they are professionals. Unfortunately, my interactions with them didn’t reflect any level of professional courtesy. Based on my experience, I would recommend seeking legal assistance elsewhere.

My husband and I approached one of the attorneys at SKV Mr Chris Fischer, who told us he could assist us with our marital regime change. This was in 2020. 3 years later and we have still not received our new ANC. We have spent R30 000 on this matter and have nothing to show for it. They refuse to refund us

Poor service and communication
My wife and I wanted an amendment on our ANC and we approached Mr. Chris Fischer. We started this process in May 2020. It is now March 2022 and we still don’t have our ANC. They have appalling communication and it seems as though they have forgotten about holding up their end of the bargain. I get that things take time and we started the process during the first lockdown but it is almost 2 years. I paid for their services and the service I am getting well below par.

Shocking Customer Service
I had a consultation with Mr Philip Smith in December 2020 to request trust documents and updated will. It has been an uphill battle just to get feedback and updates regarding the progress. Eventually the will was finalized in Feb 2021. I am still awaiting any feedback regarding the trust documents submitted in July 2021. Customer service does not seem to be a priority.

A Wolf in a Sheep Skin!
Not be malicious in any way or form but I had a very bad experience with this law firm. I find them very unprofessional to say the least. They are more concerned about their fees and how they operate as a legal entity and really don't give damn about your matter. They also confirm appointments with clients and never honour such an appointments. This was my first hand experience and I am very disappointed. To add to this their receptionist was very rude and unprofessional as well. Please be careful as I lost R 1200.00 as a consultation charge and the person that I spoke to didn't rely my concerns and facts of matter accordingly. With that being said I bless them with my finances as I am currently unemployed and they refused to refund my monies. The owner my Viljoen is not welcoming at all. Please Mzansi be careful of this so called Prestigious law firm SKV Attorneys Inc (Smith Kruger & Viljoen) based in Randburg. Amen & God bless them all.
