I hired Skyblue Pools to resurface my fiberglass pool, and it turned out to be a truly disappointing experience. On the first day, they forgot to bring their own pump to drain the pool and asked if they could use mine. Unaware of the full implications, I agreed. The worker then proceeded to cut pipes and electrical cables to access my pump. He pumped the pool water into a bladder that was already full of holes, and by the time he left, half of the water had leaked out. To make matters worse, the bladder wasn’t big enough, so the pool was still half full. I told them to leave, but Tasha begged and pleaded with me to let them continue, using the emotional appeal of a sick child. Unfortunately, I was too gullible and agreed to let them proceed.
Everything seemed fine until they refilled the pool, only to find that HALF of my water had disappeared. This meant I had to pay extra to fill it up with municipal water, a cost that could have been avoided if their equipment had been in proper working order. To top it off, now that the water is back in, you can clearly see the white glue they used to stick the mosaic tiles to the pool’s blue surface. This has been an incredibly unpleasant experience, and I would strongly advise staying away from Skyblue Pools.
