I hired Skyblue Pools to resurface my fiberglass pool, and it turned out to be a truly disappointing experience. On the first day, they forgot to bring their own pump to drain the pool and asked if they could use mine. Unaware of the full implications, I agreed. The worker then proceeded to cut pipes and electrical cables to access my pump. He pumped the pool water into a bladder that was already full of holes, and by the time he left, half of the water had leaked out. To make matters worse, the bladder wasn’t big enough, so the pool was still half full. I told them to leave, but Tasha begged and pleaded with me to let them continue, using the emotional appeal of a sick child. Unfortunately, I was too gullible and agreed to let them proceed. Everything seemed fine until they refilled the pool, only to find that HALF of my water had disappeared. This meant I had to pay extra to fill it up with municipal water, a cost that could have been avoided if their equipment had been in proper working order. To top it off, now that the water is back in, you can clearly see the white glue they used to stick the mosaic tiles to the pool’s blue surface. This has been an incredibly unpleasant experience, and I would strongly advise staying away from Skyblue Pools.

What started as a good experience went downhill very quickly. I contacted Sky Blue Pools to remarbelite my pool, fix a leak and redo some paving around the pool that was sagging. Their quoting process wss quick and the quote was reasonable. Thats where the positive experience ended. When they came to do the work the bladder they provided to store the water was too small. I wasted 70% of the water that had to be pumped out. The workers came with no tools. They had to borrow my spade, pick, etc and the paving was lose when they left. I asked them to come back to redo the paving and fix the leak. They did try to fix the paving but ultimately still got it wrong but the pool is leaking more then ever. They have not returned my calls or emails to fix the leak. I spent R40k on the work but now I have bad paving and a pool that leaks 2cm to 3cm a day. At first I had confidence in Natasha and her crew but unfortunately using Sky Blue Pools has proven to be mistake. It will cost me more money to get another company to fix the work what Sky Blue Pools did.

A gentleman known to be as Chipa from Skyblue pools is not to be trusted. I asked him to fix my pool in December 2020 as it had cracks and leaking, he quoted me R20 000 for the job. The next day after he finished filling the pool with water and had left my home the pool stared showing even more cracks than before. It was leaking very bad in such a away that the water was halfway down within 2 days. I called him to check it out and fix the problem I even sent him the pictures. He never came back till now. He has been ducking mad diving ever since. He keeps on changing his name and that of the business after scamming an unsuspecting clients please! please stay away from this man he is bad news! He is know to some as Phinnos something like that
