I Also wrote a review in July after I paid for overnight courier and only received my parcel after a few days of persistent follow-up calls. I was contacted by a supervisor and my delivery fee was paid back. Thank you! Unfortunately these people does not seem to get sufficiently trained to do their job. I started the order process for a new CPAP machine on 24 Nov. All went well in ordering and getting the invoice to submit to Discovery. Interestingly there was a co-payment of R350 added because I claimed directly from Discovery, but this is not the issue here. After Discovery confirmed the payment to them, there was a R563.98 shortfall (which included the co-payment). I immediately paid that over to them. The salesperson insisted that I (still) owe them the R350 additionally. I sent extensive proof (on 5 Dec) that everything was paid. T received acknowledgement that the account was paid up. They then emailed me that they were short of stock and would inform me when it was received, which they did. The arrangement was that my daughter would pick it up late this (past) week, When she got there this morning, the machine was not set up and she had to wait for that. But that was the least! Again everyone there tried to tell her that there was an amount outstanding!!!. She had all the evidence with her but a big argument followed. Needless to say that she won the argument because all the evidence was there. She stays so close to their offices and is my ideal pick-up service, but after this I doubt that she will ever volunteer to do this again. Can someone with proper number knowledge please check payments of accounts in future? This should really be basic.
