I Also wrote a review in July after I paid for overnight courier and only received my parcel after a few days of persistent follow-up calls. I was contacted by a supervisor and my delivery fee was paid back. Thank you! Unfortunately these people does not seem to get sufficiently trained to do their job. I started the order process for a new CPAP machine on 24 Nov. All went well in ordering and getting the invoice to submit to Discovery. Interestingly there was a co-payment of R350 added because I claimed directly from Discovery, but this is not the issue here. After Discovery confirmed the payment to them, there was a R563.98 shortfall (which included the co-payment). I immediately paid that over to them. The salesperson insisted that I (still) owe them the R350 additionally. I sent extensive proof (on 5 Dec) that everything was paid. T received acknowledgement that the account was paid up. They then emailed me that they were short of stock and would inform me when it was received, which they did. The arrangement was that my daughter would pick it up late this (past) week, When she got there this morning, the machine was not set up and she had to wait for that. But that was the least! Again everyone there tried to tell her that there was an amount outstanding!!!. She had all the evidence with her but a big argument followed. Needless to say that she won the argument because all the evidence was there. She stays so close to their offices and is my ideal pick-up service, but after this I doubt that she will ever volunteer to do this again. Can someone with proper number knowledge please check payments of accounts in future? This should really be basic.

Dunlop Paarl was such a help today! I traveled about 90km to hospital with Jaime, to see her specialist for her post op appointment. About 10km from vetscape, my car shouts at me and flashes "Tyre pressure low" signals at me. So I proceed to drive 50kmph to hospital, in case I have a flat. It was pouring rain at this time. I got to hospital, and when we were ready to leave, the vet came out with me and checked my tyres and sent me off to Paarl for further help. I did not want to drive home with a potentially busted tyre. Ford in Paarl could not do much, as they weren't keen on letting Jaime out of the car so they could properly inspect. I then went across the road to Dunlop. They let me and Jaime out, we waited in a warm lounge and the cleaning lady even held Jaime for me right outside the bathroom door, so I could use the toilet... something I sorely needed after inhaling a litre of tea on the road. They checked all my tyres, helped me load Jaime in the car and treated as with such warmth and respect!! Blown away. They did not even charge me! Turns out the tyre sensor is faulty and my tyres were fine. Thank you Dunlop Paarl! Awesome group of people. Elisna Joubert

An olarm device was installed a month ago to my alarm system. I have since been battling to get it connected to my wifi, which is the point of the installation. It meant a very frustrating month between my internet provider and olarm. I even had my router's IP address changed with no success. This afternoon I was determined to figure this out myself. What I discovered was shocking! This app cannot handle any uppercases in the password. Not even a capital letter!!! Shouldn't this be standard to inform the client of that? I should be paid for figuring this out and bringing it to their attention!
I cancelled my telkom services on 5 Oct to be effective on 5 Nov. It is now 5 months later and I'm still battling. First I battled for 3 months to cancel it correctly and now they still owe me money they "stole" via debit order because of their incompetence. I phone in every month begging for my money and all I get is false promises. Should I go yo a lawyer?
