Chery Century City
I bought a second hand car from SMG Chery Century City, worst mistake ever. As a first time car buyer I didn’t know everything I needed to look for in a car and I didn’t even test drive. As I got used to driving the car I started to notice that there is air coming through the drivers door. When I mentioned this to the dealership Chad Krieger (very unreliable and full of stories) he wrote a long story about how is it only after months of driving the car that I am noticing this they will have to conduct an investigation. I did mention this to him earlier and he said I should mention it when I take the car for service which was in 3months after I bought the car. Today as I was closing the car the whole inside of the door came off. Buying this Car from them turned my excitement of “1st car” into a nightmare.

He presented me with incredible deals and took the time to thoroughly explain all my options, showcasing what BMW has to offer in a way that was both informative and engaging. The level of service I received from Owabo was unparalleled compared to my experiences with Mercedes, Land Rover, and Alfa Romeo. His attention to detail and dedication made me feel like a valued customer throughout the entire process. I was genuinely impressed with the fantastic offer he presented for the BMW F80 M3 CS, which was an exceptional deal. If it hadn’t been for a last-minute offer from Audi for their 2024 RS3, I would have certainly made the purchase. Owabo’s professionalism and commitment to providing top-notch service left a lasting impression on me, and I would highly recommend BMW Cape Town to anyone seeking a superb buying experience.

BMW customer service reps need more training
Last week Friday , I called BMW to book for my F30's timing chain to get changed. The lady at the service centre asks me why do I want to change it and I reply " you recommend the timing chain to be changed at 160 000 km". She kept on asking what is the car doing and I kept on repeating myself and telling her it needs to be changed as per BMW recommendations and there's nothing wrong with the vehicle!

After driving BMWs for nearly 40 years my last sales experience put me off forever. Disappointing from start to end. Once I signed on the dotted line the sales person turned into a sloth and dropped the ball repeatedly. When I collected the new vehicle (stupid me - on a Friday afternoon - how can I be so inconsiderate ?) the same person had zero time nor patience and the introduction to my new vehicle was over before it even started. Oh yes - and I was told I can also watch videos for my model on You tube .....:) :) The most wonderful and efficient person at SMG is Waleed at the workshop - I salute you and I will miss you forever.....
