If the option was there to give minus 5 stars, I would gladly click on that rating. I am beyond frustrated with SodaStream. They have discontinued older machine models and now expect loyal, existing customers to spend more money on new machines — even when our current ones are working perfectly fine. To make matters worse, their so‑called “trade‑in deal” costs more than what I originally paid for my machine. How is that a deal? It feels like a forced upgrade disguised as a promotion. The Customer Care experience is just as disappointing. When you submit a ticket, it’s nearly impossible to get proper support. And when your ticket is about to auto‑close, the agents reply with blank messages just to protect their KPI stats. That is incredibly unprofessional and shows zero respect for customers’ time or concerns. Overall, this has been the worst service I’ve experienced in a long time. SodaStream needs to rethink both their product strategy and their Customer Care approach — loyal customers deserve better.

This is for SOUTH AFRICA Dear SodaStream SA.... You discontinued the 30L refill.... which i used for years... nice, thank you... love the product... I used to pay R114.90 (R125 less R10 for the empty) for 30L Now you only do the 60L.... double the amount... but at R410.00?? R114.90 x 2 = R230.00 ... but just paid R410.00 Thats a 78% increase.... Well... guess after 20+ years of using your Co2 to drink 2L to 3L fizzy water per day.... ill switch to plain water.... Thanks for saving me some bucks....

I have a new Terra Soda machine, and I am struggling to find the #@$%#$% #$%# @#$%@#$% peep CO2 refill bottle. Now I have a CO2 machine, but I need to buy CO2 water. Ridiculous. unacceptable and highly frustrating.

I contacted Sodastream about replacing my old machine and I have to admit the customer service was excellent. The replacement plan was clearly communicated and there was a follow up phone call to make sure that all was in order. Thank you Sodastream and so happy with my new Sodastream Terra.

At first I would have given less stars, but that was as a result of my own doing, not theirs. I requested information about the trade-in of an old machine for a new machine and later couriered my old machine to Dawn Pearce for trade-in. Communications via email went well and the machine was delivered to SodaStream, but using my own courier and not PostNet, as suggested. This caused the issue as the courier account is not in my name and therefore Dawn could not connect the waybill on the delivery to our communications. After an email I sent regarding some negative feedback here on HelloPeter, Dawn responded by requesting my mobile number and called me about the trade-in. What a wonderfully friendly person Dawn is! After a seconds call where we determined that the originator details caused the problem and that a cover letter inside the machine should clear things up the trade-in machine was sent promptly and I have a new machine! My huge thanks for splendid and friendly service, Dawn!

I have a Sodastream machine that takes the 30l cylinder. I am struggling to find any outlet that stocks refills. I have contacted the customer support email 3 x since December and not a single response was received. What is the point of a contact customer service option on their website if I simply get ignored. I now have a machine that is useless to me and they don't seem to care.
