So, 1 year into SUZUKI ownership 1st off, i love everything about my Suzuki, price, cost of ownership, practicality.... just ONE problem... The RUST.... 6months and 4000km into ownership (bought it brand new) i reported small rust spots on the roof..... at the 1 year service this was attended to.... (75% of the rust reported was sorted.... winscreend was removed to attend to rust that i did not report... windscreen was cracked - but we will get to that later and the 25% that i did report was not attended to and car was taken back for more rust work.... total... 2 weeks....) So, after my words with the lady at Suzuki, she said "ohh but rust isnt covered here and there" , and i got angry and had some words with her after showing them their own SALES PAMPLET... 6 years corrosion warrantee.... (T & Cs i can accept, but I'm not abusing or misusing the vehicle) Ok, so rust sorted out and the KELSTON MOTOR GROUP manager (i think he was a Mr ELS) contacted me, we had a sit down and he actually offered to buy back the vehicle as he said something in the line of "We know the rust will come back over the course of the 5 following years and we don't want this headache" ... which i understand.... but then, don't advertise your 6 YEAR warrantee... Anyways, i paid in cash for the vehicle.... and expect a product that performs to what you sold me... 3 year 100 000km mechanical and 6 year corrosion warantee.... Mr Els then said he will arrange with SUZUKI SA and a decent bodyshop in PE to tend to any future issues i have with rust, as well as get back to me about the cracked windscreen. The windscreen had a crack (which i photographed when the rust repairs were done) and came back with 3x more cracks... and was told by the manager lady "STU-BAD....." (something to that effect....) I emailed Suzuki last week again and im still waiting on their "commitment" email....
So pick and pay... here we are again.... its SO bad that when i shop at P&P i take photo of EVERY item as i take it off the shelf... Last week, 2x P&P baked beans for R22, get to the till... its more.. Curry tinned veg.... one price on the shelf another at the till i bought only 5 things... 2 out of the 5 were wrong... after 45mins and some fighting... your "supervisor or manager - i don't know" does the right thing, sorts out the price and the "double the difference" after i showed her the P&P policy. So today.. go to food *****s, get everything i need, but they don't have cabbage.. run over to P&P (same complex) grab a cabbage.... and go grab some coffee beans... (i have the pick for the cabbage and the coffee beans) Ask about the beans (as the price is WRONG) and get told... "Sorry, we cant sell you the beans at that price"... never mind if i do the "double the difference" thing... the beans would basically be free.... (and your website SAYS that if double the difference is more than the items price the item is FREE..... Now i asked the man, does he EXPECT me to read all the small print barcodes or scan the QR code on every items price to see what stuff is going to cost me at the till? As you PLAK a R179.99 in HUGE print and the barcode cant be read as it on the curved piece of plastic of the price holder... And NO, its not "someone stuck 1x wrong item on the wrong place" the pic i have shows a FULLY STOCKED SHELF with 5,6,7, bags of the SAME coffee on this same spot...
So.... Bought 3x 1Kg Jacobs beans.... (Checkers Lorraine, Port Elizabeth, South Africa) Got home.... packed them into the kitchen cupboards.... Something felt off between the 2 bags i held in my hand... Weighed the sealed bags (took videos, showing the scale at 0g) Bag 1 - 970g Bag 2 - 870g Bag 3 - 782g That's 2.532kilos and i paid for 3kilos... That's robbing me of 15%.... I did go on the Jacobs SA site, did the complaints thing... got a ref number... and silence....

When you grab a quick ice cream desert at Milky Lane, and the overhead screen says R42.90 for one tub and R52.90 for the other tub.. the total should be under R100.... But the card machine is put down in front of me for R111.80 (R54.90 + 56.90) When the one item goes from R42.90 on the display to R56.90 on the slip.... (32.6% overcharge) (i have pics of the display price and the slip) Makes me want to NOT buy your product again... We were 2 people, imagine a family of 4 or a kids party of 25 and you get fleeced 30% more than you thought you spending
And we at P&P Bluewater Bay, PE again.... Go in to grab a loaf of bread and some cup a soup.... (see my previous post about why i hate shopping there) See the following.... P&P "all variants" ice cream... R49.99... grab a tub.... Tin Roof.... R50... nice price... NB there is NO R69.99 price tag at this Tin Roof ice cream.... I TOOK A PIC.... Get to the till.... scans R69.99... lady say... "sorry, this is not the R50 ice cream"... Show her the pic.... she sticks to "nope, not this tub".... show her the pic where i grabbed the 2L Tin Roof ice cream and the R49.99 price logo RIGHT UNDER IT.... Get told "Too bad....." So Pick and Pay... seems the more things change, the more they stay the same.... Guess you'll be the "grab a loaf of bread and that's it" shop for me.... You DISINGENIOUS pricing displays.... really makes me avoid not only the ****TY pick and pay in Bluewater Bay PE, but... Pick and Pay in general.... I have the pic of the shelf price AND the pic of the register.... Have a lekker day...
So.... MTN... I checked my banking app and i loaded a 7.5gb / 250mb per day "monthly every day" on my phone on 4 Feb....... and the MTN APP says it expires 1 March.... not the 4th march... seems MTNs calendar has different days to mine... or MTNs IT guy that did this programming has a 33% TikTok High School Diploma.... Which is it? You calendar counts wrong or you employ *****s to program your systems? There is a 3rd option that i fear might be right... YOU ARE *****ING from people.... Is THAT it?? You *****ING.... shame on you MTN... MTN, care to weigh in?
To the BLUEWATER BAy, PORT ELIZABETH store (and national) So, why... EVERY SINGLE TIME i shop at P&P BWB there are discrepancies in the price on the shelf and the scanned item at the till? Yesterday.. CRICKLEY 2L MAAS - R36.99 on shelf, scans R38.99 Today... Cucumber - R18.99 on the shelf, scans R19.99 I took pics of both.... shelf and slip.... So, R1 here, R2 there... a million customers a day.... So, besides the FILTH of the P&P BWB that makes me drive to CHECKERS BAYWEST to do my general shopping (25km away).... i really only go to the P&P BWB for 1 or 2 items and... when i do go... the price is AWAYLS wroing on an item in my cart... This NEVER happens at CHECKERS... Seems this is your business model hey? *****ing customers.... So, i expect your BWB manager to come to my house now and return my R9 (Double the difference) as I'm not spending petrol money going to your store again...
Id like to seriously thank Tsholofelo at GeeWiz.... My 6 year old Xiaomi Roborock S6 needed a new battery... getting one from overseas is just about impossible and Xiaomi SA didn't respond to my email request for a new battery.... After being dropped by FRUUGO (see my previous review about the NIGHTMARE experience with FRUUGO)... and another online seller.... i contacted GeeWiz.... was sceptic about a 3rd attempt in getting a new battery Tsholofelo made sure with his technical okes that my old battery and this replacement is compatible... shipped it (it was CHEAPER than the other sellers).... Its a "china non O-E" replacement, but im sure even the orriginal Xiaomi batteries are made in some sweat shop in china... Stuck the new battery in, and its been doing double duty every day the last week or so... 2hrs in the bedrooms every morning 2hrs in the living areas every night when we go to bed and it works 101% When a company delivers on what you pay for... then i will gladly sing praise for them!! Well done GeeWiz
This is for SOUTH AFRICA Dear SodaStream SA.... You discontinued the 30L refill.... which i used for years... nice, thank you... love the product... I used to pay R114.90 (R125 less R10 for the empty) for 30L Now you only do the 60L.... double the amount... but at R410.00?? R114.90 x 2 = R230.00 ... but just paid R410.00 Thats a 78% increase.... Well... guess after 20+ years of using your Co2 to drink 2L to 3L fizzy water per day.... ill switch to plain water.... Thanks for saving me some bucks....
