This company are ****mers. We wanted to buy Lithium batteries on line and because this company issued a 'beautiful' invoice with a Vat number, we NEARLY deposited R45 000 but as there was no phone nr on the invoice, we were 'suspicious' and drove to the address (19 Contour street, Fernkloof, Herm****) 120km away and the persons at this address told us that many people come to this 'false' address looking to pick Lithium batteries (that they paid for) . We did report this to the police and also ABSA bank who took 5 days to acknowledge our email. As we did not 'lose' money, the police said they could not open a case or investigation. Beware!!!!

Be careful with this company. They previously masqueraded as The Solar Arc. If you pay them, they will not deliver and you will not get any responses. Do not send them money.

Complaint Regarding SolarEnergy101.com I would like to share my experience with the website www.solarenergy101.com to alert other consumers. Based on my experience, this website does not appear to operate as a legitimate business. My father placed an order for a solar battery to the value of approximately R12,000. After payment was made via EFT, the goods were never delivered. What Happened The website advertises solar products at prices slightly below market value. The adverti*****ts appear as Google Sponsored Ads and reference an entity called YGT Group. The website appears professional in design, but does not provide verifiable contact details. The listed physical address corresponds to what appears to be a residential property rather than a commercial premises. No working contact number is provided. After adding items to the cart, customers are required to make payment via EFT directly into a bank account. The banking details provided did not correspond to the bank initially discussed. Communication was conducted by a person identifying herself as “Jenny,” without providing further verifiable information. After payment was made, no goods were delivered and communication ceased. A ******** case has been opened with the South African Police Service (SAPS), and a case number has been issued. The domain appears to be registered through GoDaddy and hosted via Cloudflare.

Please be warned about a *****ulent website operating under the domain www.solarenergy101.com . This site is not a legitimate business and is actively ****ming members of the public. ⚠️ How the **** Works: They advertise solar products at prices slightly below market value. The ads appear on Google Sponsored Ads, linked to YGT Group. The website looks professional but provides no legitimate contact information. The listed physical address is **** — it corresponds to a residential property currently for sale on Property24 in Herm****. There is no working contact number. After placing items in your cart, they insist on EFT payment directly into their bank account. They first ask which bank you use — if you say ABSA, they provide Capitec banking details (clearly attempting to avoid payment reversals or detection). Communication is from someone calling herself “Jenny” — no surname, no verifiable details. Once payment is made, goods are never delivered. My father has been de*****ed of more than R12,000 for a solar battery. A ******** case has been opened with the South African Police Service (SAPS), and a case number has been issued. The website is registered via GoDaddy and hosted through Cloudflare, which means it is being facilitated by established service providers despite clear *****ulent activity.

I believe this to be a complete ****. Excellent prices online but their physical address belongs to someone else in Herm**** and their bank account belongs to an individual. Also as soon as I asked to visit they went quiet. Purchase at your own peril.

This is a complete ****. This company comes up when you search for generators or solar equipment. Website looks good and prices are way cheaper than competitors but there’s no telephone numbers. Turns out their physical address listed in Herm**** belongs to another lady and their company details and cat number are *****ulent. Also their bank details don’t belong to the company but some individual. DONT buy from them they will ***** your money.
