Flies in Solly Manjras food.
Even animals will not be able to eat this food. There were flies in the two chicken containers with fly eggs. We suspected this was old food as it was cold. The mince is so bad it looked like dog food, and the taste was not good could not eat any of the food. The sweet rice was not cooked and was hard. Could off been old rice. The place is in a dump and not the food tastes just as bad. We used to spend a lot of money here in the past. when the food was good. Sad to see it go so bad so fast.

Bad customer experience.
It was my very first time to visit Solly Manjra. I walked in. There was about 3 customers before me. When those customers left, The servers did not even acknowledge my presence. When I requested service, tbe lady asked me if I followed the queue. There was no other customers, so I asked what queue. She had no customer etiquette. The manager was also there and he looked so miserable. His facial expressions showed that he was not interested is his job. He lacked passion and personality. Then someone from the back came and saved the day. He showed courtesy with his stupid jokes. Beside the horrible welcome the special lamb breyani was not good. The soji was also disappointing. I will not return.

bought 2 x lamb breyani yesterday and a portion of soji. Was really disapointed with the standard and taste off the food. The potatoes were fried in repeatedly used oil it smelled funny and tasted bad. so the food was off terribly low standard. there The meals cost us R99 per portion included 3 pieces of meat, the soji R49 a small container did not have cream or almonds was not properly cooked , so my overall opinon of this takeaways is one off utmost disappointment . I really had a very high opinion off this company from experiences with the Durban branch.

The best tasting meals one can buy from mutton , chicken and vegetable breyani etc. You can book at the restaurant for your meals and also daily takeaways from 10am till 4pm.They are well established catering and event professionals and they embrace all cultures and events with service excellence.

Solly Manjra's Horrible Food
We had ordered mutton breyani and was very disappointed. The food was tasteless and horrible. There was so little meat in the food. It looked and tasted like fried meat mixed with rice….everything was dry. The dhall was thick like paste and the salad was so less for the amount of food ordered. It was very disappointing as the food was ordered for my brother’s funeral/thanksgiving. My brother liked good food and there was no limitation when it came to food…it had to be of the best quality at all cost, hence, we ordered from Solly Manjra’s expecting the food to be the best as they have a reputation for good food. Totally disappointed and will never recommend Solly Manjra’s to anyone.

AMAZING SERVICE!!!
I had my mums 60th Birthday Party at Solly Manjras this Monday. Words can not express how impressed i was with EVERYTHING. The hosting, the understanding, the accommodating was unbelievable. It felt like being at home. The staff went out of the way to help and to make the occasion special. No matter what the request was, it was not a problem and was done with a smile. The staff have a heart of gold and the love they show is like they know you for years and you are part of their family. As for the food....it is absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!! Thanks you all at Sollys for really making the day extra special...WELL DONE

AMAZING SERVICE!!!

Pathetic and shameless management
My family and I had a very bad experience after buying take away broad beans bunnies from Solly manjra' s this Saturday that passed . This is an eating establishment and catering company based near Parlock. My entire family was sick from food poisoning. I had to take my daughters to the doctor today because of them being up the entire night with a runny tummy. My youngest is just 3 years old. The owner and his managing are denying any responsibility. The question I would like an answer to is how does 2 families living in different household get sick on the same day with food poisoning after eating their bunnies. Please be wary before buying any food from them. They are clearly negligent with no sympathy or remorse. They are running due to the support from us the community and word of mouth from previously exceptional food. They gone down to the dogs in my opinion. Will let everybody know not to eat there

Bad Hygiene /Poor service statndards
Placed an order and was told it would take 15, waited 15 minutes, then was told another 2 minutes, after 40 minutes still no delivery...person serving still insisted it would take another 2 minutes...should have spoken the truth from the beginning and saved me allot of inconvenience...further when I looked around poor hygiene standards. Will not be back
