SOLNET AKA RUDI NOT HONORING THEIR WARRANTIES
6 Weeks ago Solnet aka Rudi install a solar geyser with GeyserWise management station. My hous eis 2 stories high and evertyhing function fine till the management station is giving E3 and E5 issues and I logged the call on them. I was sold a complete installation and quoted for items with a 5 year warranty and one year on the element. No 6 months later he want to charge me R1250 callout to come and remove the Geyserwise system and replace with new one telling me Geyserwise did not approve them for installing this in my area.
And when I told him I bought it from him he laughed and put down the phone in my ear.

He bought a solar split system from Solnet that required a geyser-wise control system. after installation, the operations were explained to the client, and warranties were issued. He then signed a form stating that he was very happy with the installation.
1 Month later Solnet received a complaint from the client that the geyser-wise is not working as it should. This was reported to the supplier with instructions to attend to the client's complaint. Their warranty states that it is a walk-in repair service and that the unit must be brought to their premises.
Solnet will fetch the unit, take it to the supplier, and after repairs, reinstall the unit in Malmesbury and we charge R 1 250.00 for this service. The client refuses our offer and we took his response back to the service provider but before we got an answer, he lodged this report with hellopeter. Nothing wrong with our product and/or service.

16 Jul 2021, 11:23It now came to light that the Geyserwise product is not installed as per the manufacturer's details- its clearly says inhouse or in weatherproof box. My installation is left to the elements of th weathee and thats the reason for the intermittent problems when the weather is bad. twice the phone has been put down and SOLNET DOES NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES. It now came to light that the Geyserwise product is not installed as per the manufacturer's details- its clearly says inhouse or in weatherproof box.
