The place is good but is mismanaged. There is a lady called Kahlego who deals with administration in the complex office. I so wish IHS can replace her with someone interested to the job. I was approved for a unit and I did all the payments I went to collect the keys and I was shown the unit by her which is dirty and not cleaned or repaired, the burglar gate lock not working unit not painted, electricity account not cleared and the was no clear instructions on how to recharge for electricity. The lady she is so rude and I wonder if this houses belongs to her family or what. You will be so frustrated because you will be the one to call Protea metering after gather the information from the neighbors and Protea metering will require you ID and Lease agreement for them to activate the account of which the process takes 48hours and you are expected to stay in the unit for full 2 days with no power. What a **** service.

Two more cars were stolen again on Sunday Morning, 2022/08/08 around 4am….this by far is the unsafest complex I have ever seen. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here👎🏽😡

Incompetent security guard refuses us to the drive through and time states 21:45. Got there at 21:20 and he advised that they close at 21:30. Told him that we have been waiting for 10 minutes for him to get off the phone to show him what it reflects on the website. There were three cars behind us and cars in the drive through. So thank you intelligent people, so you will not make money and lose jobs for this heartless and careless act.

When teanants signed their contract here, property management told them that there is DSTV connection, which is true except that in the past 10 days there was no signal in the complex and we could not watch tv except that we pay premiums of up to R1000. The ****ty management keep on lying and ignoring teanants about the matter. The worst part is that there is nothing that teanants can do to solve this problem individually as we live in a complex. What measures can one take to get this Landlord to account and refund teanants their premiums money as it is not their fault ?

Dear Southgate Ridge Management
What seemed like a nice Complex from the outside, is soon turning out to be my worst nightmare. I have been renting out an apartment in that complex for over a year now and still battling with the issue of network despite our complains. Majority of us in the complex cannot work from home, because the network is very bad and yet we are forced to go to work everyday on a road packed with traffic. When I have visitors, i have to go wait for them by the complex main gate as the security guys cannot call me since there is no network at all within the complex.
I would not recommend that place to anyone and would continue sharing the bad experiences with family, friends, colleagues, etc. to ensure that none of them find themselves in a similar situation. I have decided to go look for a nice place that would ensure that my family can reach me in any case of emergency. A place where its management takes care of their tenants. Before i move out, me and other tenants, we are embarking on GO SLOW for rent till the issue of network is fixed.

Regards
unsatisfied tenant
