Never stay at south point the alleged luxury accommodation. They will never take you as a tenant seriously whether is the workers or the management here. They will be so fast to want you to pay rent but not have a backup generator and not have any solutions to issues. This is not worth your time or money.

MY SON IS A STUDENT AT WITS AND STAYED AT ONE OF THE SOUTHPOINT PROPERTIES. WE PAID DEPOSIT OF ONE MONTH RENTAL AND 6 MONTHS RENTAL BEGINNING OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR. AFTER 6 MONTHS ON THE OCCASIONS THAT WE DELAY THE PAYMENTS FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR BY A DAY OR SO, MY SON IS BARRED FROM ENTERING THE PREMISES AND IS DENIED ACCESS TO INTERNET. AFTER HIS FINAL EXAMS HE WAS ADVISED TO PUT IN A NOTICE OF WHEN HE WANTS TO VACATE THE ROOM SO THAT THEY COME AND INSPECT THE PLACE AND PROCESS THE REFUND. HE WAS ASKED TO PROVIDE THE BANK DETAILS FOR SENDING THE MONEY. ON THE LAST DAY, WHICH WAS A SATURDAY, 30 NOVEMBER 2024 HE WAS TOLD TO LEAVE AND THE MONEY WAS TO REFLECT ON A MONDAY. ON MONDAY THERE WAS NO MONEY IN THE ACCOUNT AND SUDDENLY THERE WAS A NEW DATE OF THE 15 DECEMBER WHICH TURNED INTO 18 DECEMBER. YESTERDAY I WAS SENT FROM PILLAR TO POST AND THE EMAIL SAYS OUR CASE HAS BEEN RESOLVED, YET WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND. TODAY I AM TOLD ANOTHER NEW STORY AND THAT I AM RUDE FOR DEMANDING MY MONEY. NO MONEY AND JUST THE RUN AROUNDS. SOUTHPOINT MANAGEMENT ARE THE BIGGEST ****MERS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF DESPERATE STUDENTS TRYING TO BUILD A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR THEMSELVES, SHAME ON YOU. YOU ARE PATHETIC AND BIGGEST ****** IN TOWN

The south point at diamond house has not had water for days on end.the lift is always broken ..n if there is water is one shower working and is with cold water. There is plenty of us student here and we always Going up and down floors looking for water. And now the stove is not working because there a lot of us using it and it s not fit for the quantity they have accepted in their premises.

I have been waiting for Deposit refund since December 2020 from Soutpoint Braamfontein. Several follow ups done & given a portal: refunds.spmss... to upload bank account and id copy. That was done & never heard anything from them. Followed up againg through emails & twitter & told to provide the same documents already submitted. REF No. 0021099

Southpoint property management. I'm saddened by the service SP give to its customers. Not only does Southpoint offer poor service it is also a company that does not look after their employees...its just a Southpoint culture but don't take my word for it just and experience the epitome of bad service and I would think twice if you looking to join SP management. I regret the day I joined SP..
