I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received from Eunice, a staff member at your dealership. Despite numerous assurances and promises, I have been misled and misinformed about the delivery of my vehicle. Eunice Matywatywa initially informed me that I would receive the car last Wednesday, but when that did not materialize, she postponed it to Saturday, citing non-reflection of payment as the reason. Throughout the week, she continued to provide me with false hope, stating that the payment had been made and would reflect on Thursday, only to push the delivery date to Friday and now Monday. Each time I attempt to follow up, I am met with excuses and a lack of clear communication. This has resulted in significant inconvenience and financial loss, as the vehicle is essential for my business operations. I urge you to investigate this matter and take immediate action to rectify the situation.

Good evening My name is Ramosedi Mashala, I took my Toyota CHR 2017 model to Toyota maponya dealership in Soweto on Monday the 17th November 2025 at 07h30 am, it was showing an alert on the instrument cluster of engine coolant temperature being high and it was jerking, I was assisted by the lady by the name of Brenda. the whole day there was no communication from the dealership whether they could diagnose the car or not, at 14h00 pm I called them to check the progress with the car but Brenda told me they have not done anything to the car because they Want to know if I will pay diagnostic fee, I was furious as they asked me the same question in the morning and I gave them go ahead, I agreed to pay the diagnostic fee and immediately Brenda sent me the invoice for diagnostic fee of R2100. She gave mechanic phone to speak to me and he confirmed that he didn't do any diagnosis on the car yet, so my question to them was why did they sent me invoice if they didn't do any diagnosis? There no clear answer. Fast forward my car spend 4 days at the dealership and they still could not diagnose it, on Thursday afternoon I requested to take my car as it was obvious they are unable to diagnose it, after taking my car I drove for about 8km and the car Was stuck and I was unable to continue driving, I called my partner to come and tow my car, I also informed the guy who gave me the car at the dealership by the name of innocent, my question to him was how come my car is now having difficulty moving but when I brought to the dealership it was moving. Kindly intervene as the service I received from the dealership was very poor, no communication, my car Was in the worst condition than when I took it to the dealership and the guy just blueticked my message and no explanation given. I have been taking Toyota Avanza there for 3 years. Suddenly my car has a oil sump problem. They are been servicing my car for 3 years, they never raised that issue. Someone messed the bolt nut treads of the oil sump. Now I need to get a new oil sump. They are money driven here, excellent service comes last. When they say Someone messed the treads.I have never had this problem before and then the qoute me for a new oil sump.

Gave a deal to one of the sales people - Harvey Kunene and he still has not paid me. They seem to not take their spotters’ business seriously. I would not recommend bringing new business to them at all, as I still have not received my payment and it’s been 3 months now

Dear Ma'am/ Sir I would like to express my disappointment with the service of Toyota maponya. My car was brought in twice to get fixed but it still comes back the same. This is such an inconvenience to me because I'm unable to perform my duties at work because I use this car on a daily basis. It's been almost 6 months with this back and forth ,if you were unable to fix the car why did you take the money to fix it. The engine was replaced which was not the problem the car came with. If the same branch is unable to fix it please rather outsource but the car must be fixed. Sincerely MmbUdzeni

Extremely disappointing service! Paid a holding deposit on a non-physical vehicle, they delayed the delivery and eventually after finding another vehicle at a different branch I asked my deposit to be refunded in January already. However, the salesperson, Lerato, fails to secure my deposit back to me. Very bad!!

Extremely disappointing service! Paid a holding deposit on a non-physical vehicle, they delayed the delivery and eventually after finding another vehicle at a different branch I asked my deposit to be refunded in January already. However, the salesperson, Lerato, fails to secure my deposit back to me. Very bad!!

Received the worst client service from the new car sales manager Thabang at Toyota Soweto. No regard for his clients and definitely gives Toyota Soweto a bad name and wouldn't recommend using them at all.
