Contrast of what good service is.
My wife and I went to Spar to go buy items which were advertised as being on special drove all the way from westonaria because of what we thought was a bargain little did we know we will be told that was an error in print items advertised for R299 when we got there we were told that infact they're R399 when we asked why is it that the brochure that still showed a R299 price was at entrance still which the lady who's supposedly an assistant manager was rude to say the least, told us there were notices on the walls rectifying the error why don't we pay attention. The manager was called but he didn't remedy the situation either.The worst customer service ever so despondent don't think I will ever visit the store ever again.

Bad customer service
I visited the spar in rand gate yesterday and I actually used the exit entrance to enter the store because I'm not fami**** with the store and it was my 1st time visiting the store. Upon approaching the isles to start shopping a lady by the name Ellen approached me and told me leave the store because I used an incorrect entrance, I gave her my explanation and proceeded to say if I don't go out to use the correct entrance I won't be assisted at the till point. I continued shopping because I was already in the store, when I got to the till point indeed no one wanted to assist and Ellen was called and she practically embarrassed me in front of other customers as if I was a ********. I requested her to call the store manager and she said she is the one in charge of the store. I stood at the till ignored for about 15 minutes until one lady decided to call the store manager. Only then I was assisted. I have never experienced such humiliation and bullying in my life. I blame myself for continuing shopping while I could have went to another retailers to do my shopping in peace. I will never visit that spar again or any other Spar for that matter.

We only bought milk but as we got to the till the teller said she cant help us because we entered the shop at the wrong door. How is this for customer service. Please note that nowhere on the door it stipulated EXIT ONLY. I will never support this SPAR again. The staff treating there customers like garbage. Not happy at all. Owner should give his staff better training and maybe mark the entrance and exit doors clearly. If you look at reviews of other customers we were not the 1st ones that had this bad ordeal. Im also placing this review on hellopeter and social media. Thank you Yvette Erasmus
