I am extremely disappointed with the service received from Spitfire Furniture.
After waiting four months for my couch to be delivered, I received no communication from the company about delivery dates or times. The couch was suddenly delivered on a day I was not home and left in my garden despite Spitfire having assured me, after I had to phone repeatedly, that assistance would be provided to help move and position the furniture.
When I contacted the company for clarity, the owner phoned me repeatedly and spoke to me in an unprofessionally defensive and rude manner, insisting that delivery issues were “not his fault” because they outsource. This is not an acceptable excuse - customers buy from Spitfire, not their outsourced partners.
To make matters worse, the receptionist imp**** that it would be “unfair” for me to leave a Hellopeter review, instead of acknowledging the legitimate service failure.
Between the long delay, the total lack of communication, the unannounced drop-off, and the unprofessional response when raising concerns, my experience has been frustrating, inconvenient, and frankly unacceptable.
High-end furniture requires high-end service. Spitfire Furniture fell far below that standard.
Whilst the product is good, their staff telling me they are "putting our fires" plus the bad service is no excuse.
