I am extremely disappointed with the service and product quality from Kurt Geiger, purchased at Spitz - Menlyn Park Shopping Centre. I bought a brown leather shoe from Spitz at Menlyn Mall (Kurt Geiger brand). The second time I wore the shoe, I stepped into a small amount of water while stepping out of my car — nothing excessive or out of the ordinary. To my absolute shock, the shoe immediately changed colour from brown to cream. How does a genuine leather shoe change colour so drastically from minimal contact with water? This raises serious concerns about the quality of the product being sold. I returned the shoe to Spitz at Menlyn Mall to have the issue sorted out. It has now been over a month, and I am still waiting for feedback or resolution. I constantly have to follow up myself. Every time I call, I receive a different story, and no one seems to take accountability for what has happened to my shoe or where it currently is. The lack of communication, poor service, and complete absence of ownership is unacceptable - especially for a premium brand and retailer. At this point, I feel completely disregarded as a customer. I expected far better quality and significantly better customer service. I would not recommend purchasing from this store if this is how customer complaints are handled.

Purchased a lacoste sneaker for R2995.00 and wore it for less than 1 hour and it gave me a blister at the back of my right foot. Complained to customer service and went to the store and they said there is nothing they can do. No exchange and no refund. Pathetic service from Spitz Pavilion Durban.

Purchased an expensive pair of Kurt Gieger formal shoes from Spitz Gateway. I paid R3300. Worn very occasionally for court. 2 week ls ago slipped and fell face down at La Lucia Mall. Upon closer inspection noted there was something amiss with the soles of these shoes. A startling revelation was made today when this was brought to the stores attention ie. these shoes do not comes with soles! I was never told that when I made the purchase. I sustained soft tissue injury from that nasty fall. I could've broken bones or even died because of this pathetic purchase. Over my lifetime I owed numerous pairs of shoes, but never before have I heard of such hogwash. had I known this I would not have opted tp make the purchase and jeopardize my life and wellbeing.
