Cashback Not Yet Credited – Request for Assistance with Australian Open Promotion
I am writing to seek assistance regarding an Australian Open tennis cashback promotion offered by Sportingbet. I participated in the promotion and, according to the promotion tracker on my account, I qualified for R1,785 in cashback. I also have screenshots reflecting this amount. The promotion indicated that the cashback would be credited at midnight, however the funds were not added to my account as expected. I contacted Sportingbet support and was advised that the matter is currently being investigated. While I appreciate that checks may be required, the qualification appears to be clear and verifiable, and I was hoping for a quicker resolution. As a long-standing VIP client, I have always valued Sportingbet’s service and reliability, which is why I am confident this issue can be resolved promptly. I planned my betting activity around the cashback being credited as communicated in the promotion. I kindly request Sportingbet’s assistance in reviewing this matter and crediting the cashback at their earliest convenience. I look forward to a positive outcome and will gladly update this review once the issue has been resolved.

23 Jan 2026, 07:05A client cannot reasonably be expected to wait indefinitely for funds that were earned and scheduled to be credited at a specific time. I kindly request clarity on what is causing the delay and when this will be resolved, or alternatively that the cashback be credited without further delay.

I participated in Sportingbet’s Australian Open cashback promotion and re**** on the official promotion tracker, which showed my cashback accumulating with clear payout dates. Based on this, I continued betting in good faith and even increased my stakes to qualify.
When the cashback was not credited, I followed up repeatedly. Sportingbet later admitted that the promotion was misconfigured and that the tracker had incorrectly counted certain bets. I was then made to wait three days, provide screenshots and explanations, and endure multiple escalations.
Eventually, Sportingbet decided to apply a pro-rata 10% calculation on my bets as a so-called goodwill gesture. However, this calculation was only app**** to bets from 20 January, while they have refused to compensate bets from 22 January, despite the situation being identical and caused by the same system error.
There is absolutely no justification for compensating one day and refusing the next. This inconsistency is unfair, illogical, and unacceptable. A customer should not be penalised for trusting a bookmaker’s own tracker, especially when the error has been acknowledged as a configuration issue on their side.
As a long-standing client, this experience has completely eroded my trust in Sportingbet. Promotions are meaningless if the tracker cannot be trusted and payouts are app**** selectively. I will not be continuing my betting with Sportingbet after this experience.
I strongly caution other customers to be very careful when relying on Sportingbet promotions and cashback trackers.
