I am extremely unhappy with this website. They ran a sale, from which I made a purchase (eyelet curtains). The incorrect item was shipped, and the sale item is now "sold out". I find it very strange that the item is SOLD OUT, yet I had purchased it. Should the amount of items reflected on the site not match stock in the warehouse? This baffles me. I believe that they are being extremely deceptive, and having run out of stock as an error on THEIR SIDE, just decided to send me something "close enough" (tape curtains). I purchased something very specific and thereafter went out and bought everything I would need to put up these eyelet curtains which is not cheap! I am not sure if I'm overreacting, or if this is just extremely unfair! The customer service I received said that they are unfortunately out of stock (again, how?!) and would not be able to replace the items, so I would need to log a refund. I would then need to re-purchase the items when they were in stock again. In this case, I should be refunded the FULL amount for the curtains, not the sale price (a practice that I so appreciate from Zando) so that I can buy them when they become available again, as I have already changed rooms in my house for these curtains!! I am a magistrate, and if a case like this were to land in a small claims court, this company would be forced to not only refund me the full amount for the curtains, but the cost associated with everything else I have changed and bought in my house.
