I received an update regarding my order from the owner of Squeaky Smalls the following day after my last post, 13 April. He let me know that he hadn't been feeling very well which explained the lack of communication. He had unfortunately left his administrator, Jenny, holding the fort who called me the day of my last post leaving an unpleasant message on my voicemail after having a go at me on my Instagram DM's. He was sincerely apologetic and has kept me updated about the delivery of my order. It seems as though the hold up is with their delivery process.
I have since adjusted my rating to be fair to the owner and I'm quite relieved that it is indeed a legitimate business which just happens to have an extremely rude and unprofessional administrator (Jenny) and an unfortunate choice of delivery mode which can cause a long wait for your delivery. Those are the only negatives I've had but I'm looking forward to my order.
Overall, I am impressed with how the owner was able to turn this experience around and provide a better customer experience. He has also added a complimentary floating shelf to make up for my previous experience.
