FAULTY PRODUCTS SOLD AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER!
We purchased 2x Stanley Classic Vacuum Flask's 1.9L (Black) on two different occasions via Takealot. The first still working perfectly, whereas the second has stopped working effectively. It appears to have 2 rust marks inside which is not supposed to even be possible as the flask is guaranteed by the producer
Initial email sent to Stanley 1913 in November 2022 and follow up emails sent regularly as no number can be found to phone them (12/12/2022 ; 26/12/2022 ; 04/01/2023 ; 25/04/2023 ; 13/02/2023 ; 03/03/2023), and this has only succeeded in getting 2 responses, once less useful than the next.
The first being on 01/12/2022 indicating that they were experiencing higher than normal inquiry volumes but that my inquiry had been received and response will happen as soon as possible. Also included a ticket number #282850
The second being on 21/03/2023 indicating that the ticket has been resolved. I of course immediately responded that this is not the case but no further response has been received.
We have now even reached out to Takealot (Cleo) on 14/02/2023 - not expecting them to facilitate a return / refund, merely requesting direct contact details of the supplier hoping to receive a response in that manner. Response i received was that we can;t assist please reach out to the manufacturer (15/02/2023). I reverted reiterating our need on 16/02/2023 and following up 03/03/2023 bu no further response has been received from them either.
We are truly disgusted by the lack of customer service and the fact that we now sit with a faulty flask which was extremely expensive and no use therefore.
