I booked a move with Star Oar Logistics, dealing directly with Mark Bennett. Although he initially responded to calls and messages, they failed to deliver the service and told me to make alternative arrangements — costing me more time and money.
I had paid a deposit upfront, and after pushing for a refund, I was promised the money back within 7 business days. That deadline passed, and since then they’ve ignored all further attempts to contact them. No refund has been received.
After doing more research, I discovered many others have been ****med by Star Oar Logistics in similar ways. This seems to be a recurring pattern of taking deposits and not delivering.
I am proceeding with a formal complaint to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud and urge anyone else affected to do the same.
Google should not be ranking this business, and people should be warned. Do not trust Star Oar Logistics.
