I booked a move with Star Oar Logistics, dealing directly with Mark Bennett. Although he initially responded to calls and messages, they failed to deliver the service and told me to make alternative arrangements — costing me more time and money. I had paid a deposit upfront, and after pushing for a refund, I was promised the money back within 7 business days. That deadline passed, and since then they’ve ignored all further attempts to contact them. No refund has been received. After doing more research, I discovered many others have been ****med by Star Oar Logistics in similar ways. This seems to be a recurring pattern of taking deposits and not delivering. I am proceeding with a formal complaint to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud and urge anyone else affected to do the same. Google should not be ranking this business, and people should be warned. Do not trust Star Oar Logistics.
I've had the pleasure of staying in my property for 5 years, and I can honestly say that the experience wouldn't have been the same without the incredible team managing it. From start to finish, they have been nothing short of amazing - always efficient, incredibly helpful and consistently responsive. Whether it was handling maintenance requests, answering queries or assisting with paperwork, they were quick to act and always professional. It's rare to find agents/consultants who genuinely care and go the extra mile.
Great experience with Tiffany. She showed care in what my puppy was going through, and I even received a get well card for my little girl.
Great and friendly service. The dotsure team made it an easy decision to move over to them for my insurance purposes.
Great service from Andile, at Miway. She made it easy to update my details on my policy. Miway's customer service is the best!

I cancelled my policy with Telkom on the 4th August 2016, received an email stating someone from Telkom would be in contact with me within 21 days. I am still waiting.

In September, when my account was debited, I contacted Telkom and told them I cancelled the policy, to be informed that this would be my last month as the contract period of 24 months was not up.

Again, in October I receive an invoice for another payment due - I contacted Telkom to inform them that my policy was cancelled on the 4th August, I was given a reference number and told someone would get in contact with me.

In November, I received another invoice, again I called Telkom, apparently they tried to contact me once in October regarding the cancellation and didn't get through, but didn't bother to try calling me again. The lady apologised and said someone would contact me. I have yet to be contacted. I placed a stop payment on my account and reversed the debit order when they debited my account on the 15th November. At the end of November they debited my account again.

I have now received another invoice for payment due in December. I refuse to have this payment go through again.

I honestly do not know what to do for them to cancel my policy and stop debiting my account. If this problem isn't resolved within 48 hours, I'll be laying a complaint with the Telecommunications Ombudsman.
