Legal Standing of the OTP
I have emailed for assistance regarding to take occupation of the house I have bought, the Bond have been lodge at the deeds office and awaiting for registration. I wanted to move in as the property is already empty. Because the OTP specifically states an occupation date of 1 February 2026, this is a contractual agreement. The seller is legally obliged to hand over the keys and provide vacant occupation on this date, even if the property has not yet been registered in your name. The autorney's don't even care!

Stbb TERRIBLE SERVICE
The worst service anyone could receive. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. They receive so much money just for them to do nothing and you have to do their work for them,that eventually ends in more money lost.

STBB Helderberg's service is terrible
Extremely expensive, terrible service and very unhelpful. As a buyer they force you to use an app that is badly designed and they charge you handsomely whether you like it or not. They did not provide the litigation to me once the sale had completed as promised. Two years later LG provided it when asked without apologising until I pointed this out to her. DE, the conveyancer, was supposed to contact me re access to my property and to date has failed to do so. Three weeks later i'm still waiting! This company is not recommended.

Happy to take your payment but do not stand for fairness and honesty
Extremely unhelpful and left in the lurch to deal with latent building rising damp issues that cropped up only on the day of received keys. They were only on the side of the seller and categorically refused to assist in any form of remedy-not taking phone calls. The estate agents fine and country fourways were equally unhelpful and did absolutely nothing to assist with the major problem of mould and damp across one whole wall, which they painted over to hide. Once the bond has gone through and they all have their monies you are on your own. Thanks for the mould and loss of many weeks of pain and heartache. What is meant to be a joyful milestone turned out to be a big regret.

If this is the level of service that you provide then good luck to you in the future. Maybe you should become a used car sales person. Two (2) years after the property transfer and I am still waiting for important documents. Phoned to speak with her at 16:30 to be told she leaves at 16:00. Left a message for her to call me back the next day and sent an email requesting said document. Neither she, nor her sidekick, had the decency to return my call or respond to my email. Appalling lack of service.
