Scam artist. Dishonest lawyer

I Applied for registration of a trade mark in May 2020 with Trademarker.com. I paid the Invoice in full, however to date nothing has been resolved. the Attorney (Rouviere Stead) has failed to provide updates without being hounded via email.

It’s been over a year with no progress. I believe I have been scammed as I have called other trade mark companies who confirm that there is no backlog at the CIPC and that I should have received an application number at most a few weeks after submitting the application. In Addition Mandy from Trademarker has confirmed that they are finally instituting legal action against him.

As a small business this scam is most upsetting and disappointing. It is a loss I cannot afford but thanks to the greed and dishonesty of this business I have to endure.
