I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent service I received from Strand Fitment Centre. They repaired my car’s aircon in record time after another service provider told me it would cost thousands to fix. Strand Fitment Centre resolved the issue for a fraction of the price and delivered outstanding workmanship. I highly recommend them for their honesty, efficiency, and exceptional service.

I regret to say that my recent experience at this workshop was deeply disappointing. While the staff were friendly and helpful, my interaction with the ‘main person in charge’ was extremely unpleasant. He was dismissive, made no effort to apologise for the distress caused, and did not even stand up to speak to me. Instead, he suggested that my son — who paid the bill — should phone him, as though I were not capable of addressing the matter myself. He showed no concern for my inconvenience, and refused to take any responsibility for previous work done on my vehicle. When I requested an itemised bill for future services, I was told that “no one in 30 years” had ever questioned his billing system. I find that response unprofessional and outdated — itemised bills are standard practice in reputable service industries. As an older woman, I left feeling belittled and humiliated. His attitude conveyed a sense of superiority and condescension, as though my lack of mechanical knowledge made my concerns unworthy of respect. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable in any customer-facing business. I share this review not out of bitterness, but to encourage greater accountability, transparency, and respect — especially toward women and older clients. Courtesy and professionalism cost nothing, yet they make all the difference.

I recently had my car radio installed at Strand Fitment Centre, and I am thoroughly impressed with their service. The team provided excellent service and sound advice throughout the process. I am extremely satisfied with the installation of my car radio. Highly recommended!

So i purchased a vehicle in march a VW polo, the previous owner had the vehicle serviced at Strand fitment centre in January, i drove the car for less than 2 months and the service light went on, VW-Barons refused to set the timing for this and i had to go all the way to strand from the heart of CPT, went there and i got a very arrogant attitude from the owner-manager boss whatever he is him and his guy supposedly reset the timing on the service light without showing myself and my hubby what they were doing, also this idiot did not have a mask on and he still coughed in the car, thats not the point though, its a month later and the service light is on AGAIN, i took the car to barons, paid to have them check if it actually needs something done, low and behold i was told the people who set the timing either caught on **** or did not service the car correctly. So this morning i phone a i tell the receptionist that the light is going on again so it wasnt set right and she literally has the nerve to tell me that there must be a problem, seriously? Please do not take your car for any service or motor work to be done rather go to a proper place i dont even think they are qualified to be doing servicing .
