They repaired my car’s aircon in record time after another service provider told me it would cost thousands to fix. We would like to acknowledge the excellent service we received at Indigo Spur in Waterstone, Somerset West. A special thank you to Gert Botha, the manager, who made us feel truly welcome and went out of his way to make our daughter’s 6th birthday extra special. All the parents in our group couldn’t stop raving about the outstanding service!
I took out two motor warranty plans and a service plan, trusting I'd be fully covered for essential vehicle maintenance. However, I later learned that critical parts like the cambelt, necessary for a major service, were excluded. As someone without mechanical knowledge, I wasn't aware of this and re**** on the plan's promise of coverage. When I raised the issue, I was told I should have read my contract, but how could I know what was crucial? My car was serviced without replacing the cambelt, leaving me at high risk of engine damage if it fails, which could result in huge repair costs. This feels unfair, as I purchased the plan in good faith expecting comprehensive coverage. Greater transparency about exclusions and their risks is essential. Customers rely on these plans for peace of mind, but this experience has been frustrating and disappointing.
