The property itself is clean and generally well taken care of, however our overall experience was disappointing. The accommodation is advertised as pet-friendly, but this did not align with our experience. We were informed that there were printed complaints from other guests regarding our dogs barking, however we were never shown these complaints nor given the opportunity to read them. It was also suggested that other dogs on the property are “well-behaved community dogs”, which left us questioning what this imp**** about our own dogs. Dogs bark — that is their nature — and overall, the experience did not feel genuinely pet-friendly despite how it is advertised. As a result, we had to place our dogs in a nearby doggie hotel for the remainder of our Christmas holiday, which was unexpected and added stress and additional costs. Check-in was also not handled smoothly. Our room was not ready on arrival, we were not contacted with updates, and we had to follow up several times ourselves. This was particularly challenging while traveling with a 3-month-old baby. Additionally, while concerns were raised about our dogs, late-night noise from other guests — including loud music, car revving, and disturbances until approximately 03h00 — was allowed to continue. This was difficult given that we were staying with an infant and felt inconsistent in how noise-related issues were addressed. We were also informed that other guests wanted to check out early and not pay for their stay due to our dogs, despite the fact that payment is required in advance. This added unnecessary pressure to an already stressful situation. As noted on your menu: “If service is not up to standard, please lower your standards.” “If my dog is not up to standard, please lower your standards.” While the property is well maintained, we would recommend clearer communication and more consistent management of pet and noise policies, particularly for guests traveling with pets or young children.

First I want to mention, the place is beautiful and people friendly and helpful. The problem I am experiencing with the place is you have to properly beg, pray, ask and plead to the ancestors to get your breakage deposit back. We booked 2 chalets, stayed on the 14/08. To date, I have not received my deposit back. On request I am told that the lady is just running around terribly and things are just crazy, which I understand, but which by the nature of the matter, is not the client's problem. I really did not want to go the "bad review" route, but I am really feeling discouraged.
