In October last year(2019) we went to the food market held at the Mall of Africa. SUMTHING FRESH was present with food and drinks on sale....due to the long queues we stood in separate lines to purchase food and drinks....FOOD AND DRINKS , satisfactory and not that great. We made payment with 2 separate cards, 1 CREDIT AND 1 DEBIT. On 17th and 22nd May of this year both the cards were debit for R180.00 and R270.00. by SUMTHING FRESH. Since last year we have never used or bought any items from them. I tried calling the Cell(Hezron) and landline on the website and no answer. I went on to send and email and post a comment on the facebook link. I received a call from Andrew, one of the owners who promised to refund both the amounts. FYI.....we are still waiting. We have lodged and complaint and case if fraud is being investigated by the bank. FOR ANYONE WHO INTENDS USING SUMTING FRESH....I WOULD ADVISE THAT YOU BE CAREFUL AS THERE IS A STRONG POSSIBILITY THAT THEY CLONE BANK CARDS AND USE LATER THINKING PEOPLE WILL NOT NOTICE. They did try debiting again but thank fully we stopped and made new cards.

Since my last review, about 2 weeks ago. I have not received any feedback from Hezron the owner at Sumting Fresh. Not a response to my emails nor this post, nothing! Customer care is but a thing of the past for them! If you're considering hiring them, DON'T!

Sumting Fresh catered my wedding in December 2019. They arrived 4 hours later at my WEDDING! The ceremony started, ended and they still did not pitch! They did not make an attempt to call and advise that they'll be late. Not a single phone call was answered, when we tried to get hold of them. All contacts numbers that were on hand went straight to voicemail! If it wasn't for the Facebook and Instagram posts to get their attention, I doubt they would have called back. After all this, the owner Hezron promised to pay back 50% of our bill. Mind you we spent 15K on CANAPES! It's been weeks now where Hezron has made no attempt to pay back the money. He ignores my emails. You cannot write a review on Facebook as they have deactivated that functionality. I wonder why!? Clearly the owner and management have no interest in customer care or the wellbeing of their business and they can provide sub-standard service, and make promises they won't fulfil. I would urge all future clients to think twice when hiring Sumting Fresh for your next event. They'll take your money, come late and make promises they won't keep. Totaly and utterly disgusted in the way they dealing with the situation.
