Contaminated Soup Product Sold – No Response from Store (Roodepoort)

Complaint:

I purchased a packet of soup from Sunshine Cash and Carry in Roodepoort, Gauteng. While preparing it for myself and my 7-year-old child, I discovered a worm and web-like contamination inside the packet. Unfortunately, we had already consumed some of the soup before noticing the contamination. The product’s best before date is 20 January 2027. I have inspected all other food items in my cupboards and found no infestation, which raises serious concern that the contamination originated from the product itself.

I reported this matter directly to the store manager and attached photographic evidence, but I have not received any response.

This is a serious health and safety concern, especially involving a child. I request urgent investigation and resolution.
