Be very careful of ordering online from this company www.sunshinecashandcarry.co.za. We placed and paid for an order on 27 April 2025 - the order and payment were acknowledged - the order was not dispatched - it is almost impossible to contact the company and when you do get hold of customer support they promise that they will sort it out / dispatch in 2 days / escalate and then they don't. It is now 18 March 2026 and we have still not received our order.

Complaint: I purchased a packet of soup from Sunshine Cash and Carry in Roodepoort, Gauteng. While preparing it for myself and my 7-year-old child, I discovered a worm and web-like contamination inside the packet. Unfortunately, we had already consumed some of the soup before noticing the contamination. The product’s best before date is 20 January 2027. I have inspected all other food items in my cupboards and found no infestation, which raises serious concern that the contamination originated from the product itself. I reported this matter directly to the store manager and attached photographic evidence, but I have not received any response. This is a serious health and safety concern, especially involving a child. I request urgent investigation and resolution.

I regularly shop at Sunshine, but today a cashier named Mokwebo Mueletshedzi treated me disrespectfully. She flatly refused to assist me in putting my groceries in plastic bags. She informed me that her shift had ended. She called a female security guard to gang up against me. I have never seen such a high level of disrespect.

I bought groceries at a sunshine Roodepoort only to find out when l was home that l was charged for something l never bought went back to the store with a hope that they will check their cameras only to find out that their cameras are not working,they said they will investigate the matter and get back to me till today l haven't heard from them l'm very disappointed 😞 on them

I ordered on their website and paid R2100 on their website on 16 June, after 7 days I enquired about my order which their Manager khaya said theres is a system glitch and I will be refunded on the 27th of June after numerous calls she asked me to email her my banking details the refund will be processed with 7 to 21 days. I have been sending emails and calling they will ignore you the ladies in reception they are always following up and escalating but they never come back with to you. Today its the 23rd of October almost 4 months with no communication . The last time I wrote a review here they disputed it as if they were going to refund me. Their service is pathetic I even stopped doing groceries there at their main store in Roodepoort

I have ordered 4 case of C***** long life milk 24x 200ml on 25 September 2025, online. The bakery sucks .. me and my partner went to buy bread for supper . Apon getting to ur store . We get blocked by the lady at the bakery stating the floor is wet ....... yet its during operating hours ..the second thing is we told there is no cashier they cannot assist with bread fully packed to be sold . Polightly i asked is anyone here to asisst tve rude lady by the name of lerato or lebo i dont know what the uneducated ladies name is infact ask your manager i took ger to thw bakery , in your bakery tells me i need to listen to the lady at the door . Can i not listen she even stated i should not take my hunger out on her . .. how do you make money with staff like this .. does the owners know how they stopping a revenue . And treating people ..... even the elders were astonished i need something done i will never visit your bakery again . And i was reffered by a freind for bunny chows .... the nerve your worker has to scream like that at customers did she want the bread to take home . I couldve even baught her a loaf ... treat people with gratitude . They stopping your store from making money at 4.oo no one must go in cause i was told they dont get overtime am i gonna pay her . So shes underpaid to take her frustrations out on clients your entire staff must be checked there are many people that is lokking for work give them a chance this is bad very bad client service the manager didnt want to give me the ladies name i guess they all work together iam made a fool here regional managers and owners were are use when tbese people tarnish a good business the poor service from. The bakery .ni tellers at four . The lady stops peolle cause they wiping the floor so we must que outside she couldnt even find a cashier ......
