Disappointed in the glass bowl ticket fiasco. Filled one book and had to buy R7000 groceries and received the bowl. Rushed to finish the second book with another R7000, only to be told they are out of stock. They need to honour their side of the story because I can take my business elsewhere. Disgusting Spar.

If there was a negative rating, thats what this store deserves. In my 2,5 years of using this local spar there are always stories and bad management that do not care at all. Between the Spar and the Tops it seems you must be sure of your prices and whats written on shelves because when you get to till prices change, not on one item but numerous items and numerous occasions. Spar could be running a national special but the spar does not update and please don’t waste your time calling the manager coz the response is they will update later they never got a chance. It honestly is starting to feel like they are running some extra charges **** and because the prices at the shelves are incorrect, what price do you actually trust? Apparently I (the customer) must check the barcode of product against the shelve price. Damn moes I will be there for hours. When I thought thats worse, the Supervisor and manager got involved and lol lets just say if I was asked to describe uninterested management, they would be the perfect example. I asked for the manager Samera’s surname for escalation and she literally walked away mid sentence. I walked to her and asked if she did not hear me, she gladly responded by saying “she has other customers to deal with and I am in her store during a busy time”. Ofcause you could imagine none of the staff members knew their supervisor or managers surnames (must be the long working hours making them forget I guess) The Manager came back to intervene I thought but he instead just stood there with his eyes popped open and listening to the Supervisor call him “Papa D, Papa D”. I asked this Samera lady why could she not tell me to my face that she has no time for me. I asked them to just void everything and I will rather go spend my money elsewhere.

I placed an order online, to only get a call from the manger to to advise me they won't be able to process my order due to them who false advised a product that I did buy on the same day. I'm so angry by the way I was treated by the store Manger Daniell not only was she unprofessional but she was rude ans laughed at me while I was trying to get my point across, spend 3 hours on the phone with no solution because she thought she thought she could bully me in to agreeing to her terms im just angry that a store manager have no way of speaking to a customer and was so unprofessional when I was stating facts to why I believe they wrong, they **** to me over the the phone and secondly they false advised a product and tried to make me out yo be a lier, they rude and have no way of speaking yo loyal customers. Clearly my customer journey was impacted because I completely lost faith in super spar rosmead

Apparently client satisfaction is not high on Rosmead Superspars agenda. I have sent 2 emails of complaint via the website (which has not been updated as they still have some notice that the site will be done by the 9th February - it is now the 27th). No response, no phone call. The butcher is rude and when you ask him for something you would swear I was asking him to go to the farm and bring the *** back. You complain to the floor management and they look at you and roll their eyes. As for the majority of the tellers, they don't greet you, they continue talking to their colleagues and have the disgusting habit of doing that ghastly thing of what one can only call "sucking their snot back". I refuse to do my personal shop at the store any longer.

Kudos to Rosmead Superspar, especially for their most efficient queue management. It's always a pleasure shopping in a neat and well-organised shop. Management needs to be commended for regularly having all till open, especially when the store is busy. The tellers are efficient and friendly. Well done ROSMEAD SUPERSPAR!!!

Kudos to Rosmead Superspar, especially for their most efficient queue management. It's always a pleasure shopping in a neat and well-organised shop. Management needs to be commended for regularly having all till open, especially when the store is busy. The tellers are efficient and friendly. Well done ROSMEAD SUPERSPAR!!!

I have been supporting this Spar for many years through all of it ownership changes, I have never had a problem and most of the people know me from shopping there so frequently. On this occasion I went with my girlfriend and she paid separately at another till while I paid at another for 4 red bulls not even 2 tills away. I then walked back to my girlfriend and placed them with what we had purchased in one packet to save buying another. I was then accused of trying to take the red bulls without paying. The lady from whom I had just purchased the red bulls from had already thrown the till slip away as I did not want it. She signalled to the teller who refused to accept my purchase as valid and made her dig the till slip out of her bin. I then went to the manager to question if this is how they treat paying customers to which he replied that he doesnt know what a thief looks like and that the way in which the teller handled the situation was correct. This Spar no longer knows anything about customer service and as a result I will never support the Spar Brand ever again. They have completely lost touch with the people who live 1 street away

I have to compliment the Superspar grocer/retailer in Rosmead Avenue in Kenilworth, Cape Town on their friendly, speedy service and well-stocked store. It is also worth mentioning the high quality of fresh produce offered by this Superspar, which I’ve never been disappointed with. I’m also always surprised at how well the staff manages to effectively keep long queues at the tills flowing so that one doesn’t wait too long, even during rush hour times.
