I had received a gift purchased from Swarovski, a signature swan ring, which lost a few of the crystals. The ring fell out of warranty, however due to it's sentimentality I resolved to have the ring repaired at my cost. I visited numerous Swarovski stores who advised to have the ring repaired by a local jeweler, however they could not recommend any jeweler that was Swarovski approved. Thereafter, I reached out to their customer service who advised that they were able to repair the ring and I just needed to take it to the nearest store to have them send it to the repair centre which was "a standard procedure". After doing so, the store advised that they needed to contact the customer service to confirm this, I then recieved the feedback that I would need to pay for the courier to send the item to a repair centre situated somewhere overseas. I could not understand this as Swarovski has multiple stores operating in South Africa, surely they should have some sort of measure in place to repair their signature jewelry at a cost that is not more than the item itself? I asked for the cost of the repair and courier charge and have since received no feedback. I caution any consumer purchasing a product from Swarovski to be mindful of their purchase, especially if it is a gift as there seems to be no way of Swarovski assisting or recommending assistance should the product fall out of warranty. Their warranty period is 2 years.

Do yourself a favour and never buy anything from Swarovski – I certainly won’t again. I purchased a bracelet worth R2,000, and within less than two months – with a total of maybe seven wears – the product is already discolored. Let’s be honest, even a cheap bracelet from a China shop lasts longer than this. What’s worse is the shocking customer service at your Canal Walk store. When I returned the product, the consultant casually informed me that the warranty only applies if a stone falls out and not for discoloration. Seriously? For a so-called luxury brand, this is absolutely unacceptable and pathetic. I expect Swarovski to stand by the quality of its products, not brush off paying customers with excuses. I demand a proper resolution to this issue – either a replacement or a full refund. Failing that, I will not hesitate to share this experience widely and report it to the relevant consumer protection authorities.

I purchased a beautiful watch from Swarovski. When replacing the battery I was advised the mechanism needed to be replaced. For 7 months I have had to follow up over and over again only to be told nobody in SA has the mechanism. When the fault was originally found I was told I would get a quote to send to Austria. Today I get told they will get a quote. Shocking after sales service - technically and customer experience. After reading other complaints - I’m in for another year if I’m lucky. What’s going on Swarovski?

This is a formal complaint against the service and atrocious encounter at your Clearwater branch, Johannesburg, South Africa. My wife owns a Swarovski pen and it needed an ink refill. Upon calling your Clearwater Branch, they confirmed that they can get the ink sorted as they have ink cartridge in store. Visited the branch / store yesterday, 05th April 2025. Upon arrival, the storekeeper Mel assisted her (whom I deemed Junior). There was another colleague as well as the manager (her seniors). The pen was handed over to Mel, she opened it and took out the current ink cartridge. Upon inserting a new ink cartridge, the pen wasn’t put back in its original form. This means, one could easily separate the pen without twisting it. This created an issue as the pen was no longer functional. The store is NOT willing to take responsibility for this!

Time taken for a repair in progress of an allegedly premium brand is 241 days as at 11/04/2024 and I am still not in receipt of the item that was handed in for repairs. Been in contact with their Austrian Head Office (tel +423 399 5069) as well as their South African agents (heidi@spilhaus.co.za) (+27 87 809 2500) for the last 5 months. Promises and excuses but no results!

Good Day. My fiancé bought me a two bands rings at Swarovski September, 2022. Beginning of January 2023 I started to notice that the ring was chipping off and made contact with Swarovski East Rand Mall they stated that they couldn’t help me even though the ring was still under warranty. Just last I called and got a hold of a lovely lady Ronnel who has been very helpful but it’s unfortunate that her solutions are not working for me. Anyways Ronnel managed to get the receipt now the issue is the ring has been discontinued and there is nothing close to the amount I bought it for. They say the closest one I can get I should top up +R2500 and then they will courier it from Mall of Africa for a cost of R200 that also needs to be paid by me. Firstly I’m not happy about that because I don’t have money for a top up. Secondly even the courier fee should not be paid by me because we paid Swarovski a long time ago and I don’t think it’s fair for us to be paying again. I’m disappointed and highly frustrated by this.

As an existing customer of the Swarovski brand - I received the worst, unprofessional experience by staff at the mall of Africa branch. The manner in which the staff dealt with a customer only to close shop early is quite upsetting. When I asked simple questions about the products the staff members where quite condescending and asked me to purchase the Item from a Swarovski Store in Durban. I spoke to an alleged store manager who also seemed quite unknowledgeable about the products. They even shot down their own brand talking it down to mere costume jewelry. The manager and staff didn't know the difference between and evaluation certificate, replacement value and the purchase price. This left a very sour taste when staff refer customers to purchase products from other stores. It seems that Mikaela and Manager Sherween should align themselves with the value of the brand and the customers it attracts. Please can a area manager contact me.

Bought a gift for someone, without opening the gift I returned it to the TygerValley Swarovski store. No refund was given, I received a till slip with my name and the amount which I paid for the gift. There isn't a possibility to shop online if there was ever anything I needed to buy from Swarovski. I am now stuck with a till-slip with a credit to my name which I really have no desire to use. Disappointed -
