Wolf Product Quality
Bought a Wolf 900W electric trimmer from Takealot from Wolf/Tandem themselves. Item was delievered with no *****s for the guard and edging wheel necessitating a trip to a lawnmower shop to get the correct *****s. Within 2 hours of using it, all but one ***** had worked themselves loose leading to the edging wheel falling off. The less said about the efficacy of the bump feed for the 1.8mm line the better as it is useless necessitating the continuous opening of the bump stock to feed additional line through. Tandem have thus far not bothered to respond to the query.

Wolf Product Quality
Bought a Wolf 900W electric trimmer from Takealot from Wolf/Tandem themselves. COMPLAINT ON MAKRO VEREENIGING AND TANDEM LAWN INDUSTRIES
I bought a trim tech 52 cc bush cutting machine at makro vereeniging on the 22nd of January in may it broke down well within my warrantee i sent it back to makro to my surprise makro informed me that i was to pay R 634 which did nt understand how because still in warrantee was told they cover for only the motor so i paid the amount for my chaft to be repaired on ref:2993171 any got an sms tjat is fixed and ready for collection i get there my is not fixed where it's supposed to and makro is now telling me they rebooked it on ref:2997953 now to be charged again i had a very huge fight with them with no assistance or solutions except for what they telling me and they expect me to understand and just keep paying fpr their incompetence now i rold makro if im qouted again and my problem is not solved i want a refund .....Please assist on a way forward because i am going nowhere with them. I would like both makro vereeniging and tandem lawn industries held responsible,be fair and do what is right because i am feeling **********

No spare parts
Pathetic that you cant get parts like simple carbon Brushes for their Trimtech blower. And their Website is down. We should not support companies that dont support their products and only have a "rather buy a new one" attitude.

Pathetic that you cant get parts like simple carbon Brushes for their Trimtech blower. And their Website is down. We should not support companies that dont support their products and only have a "rather buy a new one" attitude.

GUARANTEE COMMITMENT EPIC FAIL
I purchased A Wolf Electrical Trimmer 3 October 2024 From Pick n Pay Northgate. I used it for about 5 1o 10 seconds and stopped as it was making an unusual usual noise. I retuned the **** eater on 4 October 2024 as the Motor housing had disintegrated. The **** eater was returned to me some 6 weeks later. I used it again on 18 Jan 2024 and after 2 minutes it was making an unusual noise again and I returned it on 19 Jan 2024. I was notified on on 21 Feb 2024 that I had to pay R565 to have it fixed as I had voided the guarantee by changing the line and not using the guard and I burned out the motor. I did not change the line in the **** eater as I had not used it long enough & it the original line as supp**** and I did use the guard but did not use it long enough to get dirty. In any event I always wipe down my lawn mower and **** eater after use. I demand I get new machine and I am not prepared to accept a repaired machine as I believe that I was supp**** with a demo, materially defective or repaired machine in the original purchase. When I returned the **** eater on 4 October 2023 I should have been given a new machine without question and now they the audacity to demand I pay R565 for a materially defective machine. In fact Tandem should replace the machine with an upgraded machine to compensate me for the inconvenience and for attempting to solicit me a R565 repair!! I will put this on other social media platforms.

Do not buy Wolf trimer as they’re very bad quality
I purchased a Wolf edge trimmer from Picknpay hyper. I used it no more than 10 times and it stopped working because of burned wiring, do not buy wolf/tandem products as they’re very bad quality

Tandem, Wolf trimmer
Tandem electric trimmer lasted 9 mths, small garden. Motor packed up. 6 mth limited warranty. Bought Wolf from Game and electronics packed up, returned, fixed and broke down 4mths later. Contacted Wolf Germany and they said Tandem Lawn Industries makes the Wolf in SA.......... the only thing that's German is the name. Opened up and discovered Wolf is Tandem with different name. Dont touch, not even at a special... they wont last, as I say small garden. Peter

Disposable edge trimmers
I have gone through 3 Trimtech edge trimmers in 3 months. The first one just stopped working. I did not keep the slip so I could it exchange it. I went to buy a second one. It worked for less than a day and stopped working. I took it back to Builders and exchanged it. I asked them if I should use another brand or buy a better make. They assured me this one would be fine. The third one lasted a month. Builders now refuse to take it back. I am using the gut provided by Trimtech so can’t be overloading the machine. They last a few weeks and you need to get another one. They should be sold as disposable edge trimmers because that is exactly what they are.
