Bought a Wolf 900W electric trimmer from Takealot from Wolf/Tandem themselves. Item was delievered with no *****s for the guard and edging wheel necessitating a trip to a lawnmower shop to get the correct *****s. Within 2 hours of using it, all but one ***** had worked themselves loose leading to the edging wheel falling off. The less said about the efficacy of the bump feed for the 1.8mm line the better as it is useless necessitating the continuous opening of the bump stock to feed additional line through. Tandem have thus far not bothered to respond to the query.
Staff potentially engaged in identity theft when returning routers on cancelled services and Rain are non-plussed. When dropping a Rain router at Rain's Paulshof store, I was advised that original and signed documents needed to accompany the return (whether returned by the accountholder or 3rd party representative). To clarify this I turned to Rain's website where the facility to query returned advice that NO documentation of any kind was required. I escalated to support and received a call from their Green Point branch which I answered, but there was no representative on their end. I ended the call expecting another, or at the very least an email related to this. None have been forthcoming. I sent a follow up email to Rain Support and have been roundly ignored. Be very wary of this company and their employees as they do not trade in good faith and are potentially covering for employees engaged in ******** activities. Charges for attempted identity theft will be laid with the relevant authorities.
Why does Rain make it impossible to change debit details? After multiple attempts and authentication through the banking app as required, Rain simply refuses to chnage the banking details. Want support? Not unless you want to speak to AI that just spews out unhelpful pre-programmed responses that do nothing to assist. Do humans even work at Rain anymore?
Do not under any circumstances use this poor excuse for a courier company. They will lose or ***** your package and state that delivery was attempted, but nobody at premises to deliver to (this despite the fact that there is video evidence of no such delivery attempt). Want to follow up with support on their Whatsapp or other channels? Again, do not bother, they will state high call volumes and then leave you unattended until the end of day where all queries will be closed. Aramex are charlatans and *******.
Would not bother with these guys and their 'partners' Tiger Wheel and Tyre. Trying to get any information or quotes out of them is akin to trying to extract a Great White Shark's tooth with a pair of over-cooked spaghetti noodles. And based on most of the reviews related to botched repairs and lack of accountability, it is probably a blessing in disguise that they could not be ****d.
If you are in the market for a bettery, do not bother with Probe to provide you a quote. Even though they offer this 'service' on their website, sending through a request via such will yield nothing but ignoration. It does not help requesting same from any of the staff there either as it yields the same result. Dead silence.
Just perusing the number of complaints about after-sales service here and this will probably be a waste, but regardless. If you purchase a Ryobi product, do not expect any form of after-sales service. They are happy to take your money when you buy it, but you are on your own when you need servicing or parts. Buy their products at your peril.
Thinking of purchasing any of Gentech's products (including Grip)? I would recommend not doing so as customer service and any form of support does not exist with this ces****l of a company. If any components fail, you require spares or support, they will simply refuse to respond or even acknowledge you. Avoid them like the plague they are.
Thinking of sourcing spares and/or service parts from a Midas store? I would strongly suggest another group of companies. Not only will your queries for pricing be ignored by most branches, the one that may respond will send through pricing on incorrect parts. And when provided the right part numbers, they will just not bother pricing these. And if that is not bad enough, trying to elicit assistance from Head Office and their "Customer Service" will yield nothing but a stony silence. Avoid them like the plague as they have no interest in your business (clearly they have more than enough) and you will be left frustrated beyond measure.
I would avoid purchasing any brands from Homechoice (in my case specifically Milex). The quality is debateable and when something breaks, do not expect any form of support or spare parts as any and all queries will be ignored. Rather opt for other brands and businesses.
