Purchased the GPPRO 3600i It works well but if you use indoors to watch TV etc you can’t hear your TV Sound as the noise from fan cooler is so so LOUD VERY DISAPPOINTING I also see they do not respond to negative constructive criticism which shows one trait that they couldn’t give a Dam about their clients Never again !

We had the unfortunate displeasure of purchasing a Gentech pressure washer. We bought it through builders warehouse online platform and received it in what we thought was good order. After using the machine for the first time, we noticed fuel leakage and saw that the fuel tank was cracked. Although this fell within 6 months of the purchase, the machine was sent off for repair; as opposed to being issued a new one and returned to us. Upon receiving the machine we saw that fuel tank was replaced but the fuel pipe was bent hindering the flow. In addition to this, the exhaust was falling off and the fuel tank was fixed at an angle on the bracket. Off it went again for repair and was again return "repaired". We opened the box and checked that everything was in order and it seemed to be. A few months later we decided to use the machine and whilst using it for a few minutes the exhaust burned entire off the unit. We unfortunately hadn't had time to sort this matter out and yesterday finally sent an email regarding the matter. I received a call today and when I stipulated that this was now the third time this machine is going in due to being defective, therefore we require a full refund, I was told that won't happen. We've used this machine 3 times and every single time it had an issue, when do we have actual use of the machine if it's always going back and forth between repair and garage. Builders warehouse have stopped selling this product and I'm glad they have, a reputable company should never sell defective stock to the consumer. There is apparently no one higher up that can be spoken to regarding the matter, isn't that just convenient, and when I mention the CPA the technician Cam counts it as a threat and goes on a rant, unfortunately for him I can also shout. I would like for someone to call me who can explain why we cannot get our hard earned money back. We've been told that someone would be here to uplift the unit, we have not agreed to this so I also can't understand why any of our information is now being distributed to a courier company without us giving the go ahead. This is the most difficult company we've ever had to deal with.

I bought two of the 4Kva Inverter generators and both of them are totally useless in colder months when they simply wont start. There is no choke... nor manual nor automatic. The batteries are also massively problamatic. I've put in numerous new batteries in both units and they simply run off within a week of not using the generator at all and WITH the start switch turned off. It seems to be a very common problem on these gentech generators so I realy dont understand why they simply dont sort out the problem with the help of their product engineers! Do not buy this! I've wasted R40 000 on two generators that simply wont start when it is cold and with batteries that die all the time. Sad really.

Had a mishap with my inverter accessories that were delivered from Builders Warehouse, I sent communication to them and was amazed by the level of service and professionalism I received from Charlene from Gentech industries. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you Charlene and team for a job well done. S.N: I love my pure sine wave portable power station.

Purchased a Gentech Hy-Brid Solar Inverter 1600 watt/twin batterie from Builders on or about mid-September 2022 and was left with the impression this was a plug & play unit, the unit lasted THREE months with battery "dying" due to excessive load shedding. Reading the User Manual which says, should be installed by a qualified electrician & supported by a Solar. panel/s GENTECH recommended an electrician who installed 2x New Batteries (R 9800.00) supported by 2x Canadian Solar Panels each 545 Watt, cost of Installation, over & above the initial cost of R 12 500.00 - R 27 500.00, total R 40 000.00 - The Installation was done April 2023, today April 2024 the installation is no longer working as Batteries are again "dead" We run a Smart TV if & when, charge 2x Cell Phones, 2x Lap-tops & 1x Reading Lamp - WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!

I bought a Gentech 7.5KvA generator last year and either my household went and overloaded the generator's maximum capacity or it was struck by lightning - whatever the reason I had a burnt out generator so I called on Brett (MD), Brett and Kam at Gentech and explained my predicament. I did not expect to receive a sympathetic ear or a willingness to listen to my sad story as I am sure they have heard it all before. The gentlemen were fantastic and found a solution to get my generator back to me in working order - It is a miracle act from 3 x guys that heard my plea and understood - THANK YOU from a most appreciative customer and each one of you are a Blessing

I purchased a Gentech GP4000 generator from a Gentech registered reseller in June 23 to help cope with load sheeding. By August 23 the unit would not start due to a faulty battery, I sent it into the local agent in CPT who "fixed" it. Since then, the unit has given me endless problems, it is now back again for the fourth time as it will simply not start at all. I have only had this unit running for no more than 15 hours, it has spent most of the 8 months being "Repaired" The service I have received thus far has been shocking too say the least, no communication what so ever. When I told them after sending it in for the fourth time to be fixed that I now want the unit replaced as it is still under warranty, I was promptly told, "sorry our policy is that we do not replace units, only repair" completly against the CPA. Do yourself a favor, don't ever purchase a Gentech prodcut.

I brought GENTECH 3.5 KVA INVERTER GENERATOR from Makro on the 25 November 2023 , only worked twice and it ran out of steam. I returned it for exchange, they took it to be repaired How do you repair a new inverter? Is it because of poor quality?
