Tyalor Blinds and Shutter Poor Delivery
I placed a large order of Taylor Blinds and Shutters via Windor in Herm****. Paid the deposit before the end of January 2022 (to avoid the price increase - old story). It is now the 8th of March and still no delivery. In fact, after following up I was told that the aluminium material is still on a ship on its way to SA (Durban). This is pathetic, a company without stock to fulfil a sales order - these guys should not be in business! The wooden-based products were supposed to be delivered before around the end of February 2022, but yet again no delivery and not even a single reason why - shocking customer service. Stay away from this company!

Thank you for getting in touch with us here. Firstly apologies for the frustrations. Unfortunately, the delay of aluminium is accurate. In the last 18 months, we have experienced increasing challenges importing products from overseas, due to a lack of shipping containers, production delays and supplier quality (which we take very seriously). This has unfortunately resulted in significant delays across all Taylor products. While we share these challenges with the entire industry, we are doing everything we can to mitigate or reduce the delays felt by our customers. Upon the latest information from our shipping partner, the aluminium is due to arrive on 15 March 2022. We will work overtime to catch up on the backlog, as quickly as possible. We have invested a significant amount in stock to try and minimise the impact going forward. We are not trying to make excuses, we are wanting to be as transparent as possible.
We have been in constant communication with all our customers (Windor Hermanus being one of them), about the updates or changes, as we receive them. This is not communication we enjoy sending out, and as consumers and customers ourselves, we can certainly understand your frustration. We do promise to install your order as soon as possible.
