They broken the screen of the cellphone
Tecno Stop (Somerset West - Vergelegen Plein) ( Techno Stop Sommerset West) This took place in 2022 but I felt it relevant to post. First my mother took her Samsung S6 phone in for a screen repair as the screen was cracked. Tecno Stop did a very good job repairing the screen (it was the curved S6 phone screen) and for this I would give them 5 stars. They are not very good at contacting a person to let you know your phone is ready to be collected. When she went in to collect her phone, she noticed that the store had the MiOne Mi-Pad that was featured in Dubai expo 2020 and was quite interested as she needed a tablet and the price was not as high as a Samsung tablet. She was hesitant though as she did not know much about the make MiOne. The sales person said to her she can buy it and take it home, give it a try and if she is not happy with it then she can return it. So, based on that, she bought it. When we tested it we did not like it at all – the tablet is very, very slow and the screen is not a good quality either. So she took it back to the store but they did not want to take it back and refund her – even though they said they would! For this I give them 1 star! Then she had some problems after some time with the same S6 phone. This was after Samsung did a software update and it crashed the phone. She took it in to them. After some time she sent them whatsapp messages and tried to call them several times with no response. She eventually went into the store and they gave some excuse as to why they did not contact her and why they were not responding to calls and whatsapp messages. The phone was not ready so she had to wait a few more days and then go back in again. Not only were they unable to fix the phone but they also broke the screen (and thus rendered the phone completely useless)!!! They did not repay her in any way for cracking the screen - they only said they could repair the screen if she paid for it – why would she fix the screen on a phone that is not working (and have to pay for it when they were the ones who cracked it)?!? Also, they gave no compensation for the fact that they cracked the screen – for this they definitely get 1 star.

Stop Techno Scammers
Scammers, I took my daughters phone to be repaired and within 2 days the 'new' display stopped working - I asked if they could repair or refund and I was told that it was my problem and their T's & C's cover it. Please beware and never trust your devices in these thieves hands.

Stop Techno Scammers
Scammers, I took my daughters phone to be repaired and within 2 days the 'new' display stopped working - I asked if they could repair or refund and I was told that it was my problem and their T's & C's cover it. Please beware and never trust your devices in these thieves hands.
