UNSCRUPULOUS OR A SCAM: TENTED ADVENTURES

UNWORTHY OF ANY STARS! UNSCRUPULOUS CARELESSNESS OR SCAM!! THE DAY PRIOR to check in, the "owner" sent out an email informing all addressees that they had closed the Pretorius Kop venue, due an unserviceable game drive vehicle and that they could not "offer the services advertised". He then launched into a voluminous self pitying lament about how they had suffered financially due recent past events. At no point was there an option to possibly forego the game drives, nor an idea as to the path forward.

Upon receipt of the email, I contacted the Pretorius Kop Tented Camp directly and a manager fielding my call was adamant they were still functioning. Minutes later, they called to advise they were in fact closed.

Despite several attempts contacting the "owner", along with undertakings by the managers at Pretorius Kop camp to have him respond, there has been nothing to date...2 weeks later...and no sign of a refund.
