**** BEWARE!! Blom is a **** ARTIST!!
UNWORTHY OF ANY STARS! UNSCRUPULOUS CARELESSNESS OR SCAM!! THE DAY PRIOR to check in, the "owner" sent out an email informing all addressees that they had closed the Pretorius Kop venue, due an unserviceable game drive vehicle and that they could not "offer the services advertised". He then launched into a voluminous self pitying lament about how they had suffered financially due recent past events. At no point was there an option to possibly forego the game drives, nor an idea as to the path forward. Upon receipt of the email, I contacted the Pretorius Kop Tented Camp directly and a manager fielding my call was adamant they were still functioning. Minutes later, they called to advise they were in fact closed. Despite several attempts contacting the "owner", along with undertakings by the managers at Pretorius Kop camp to have him respond, there has been nothing to date...2 weeks later...and no sign of a refund.
FNB Share Investor app platform does not truthfully reflect the actual share trading prices. Blatant misinformation. In my case, a share reflected on the FNB trading platform as BUYING@ R0.75 and SELLING@ R0.75 is bold faced misinformation. Having had my SELL order rejected twice on this stock, I contacted the FNB Share Investor help line over 2 consecutive days and was advised that, whilst BUYING is indeed @ R 0.75, when wanting to SELL, the market is offering @ R 0.51. This is Inexcusable considering this has been the case for for this stock for almost a week and the application is purportedly updated periodically each day. Despite walking through the application real time with the help agent, he smokescreened by insisted I should check the JSE trading sites, yet, the entire point of the whole point FNB application is to make trading easier and user friendly. I have been adamant that I expect feedback, so let us see how concerned they truly are.
I had the plumbing company in question quote on damage and work to be done at my residence. I was impressed with the plumber giving the quotes explanation and attitude, but that is where it all ended. After 5 days and numerous emails and phone calls for a coherent and properly structured damage report (one on a letterhead and not emailed or scrawled on a piece of blank paper, rambling and reciting the quote) I eventually received an email to state that the company was "fully booked" and could no longer assist. As result, I had to recommence the process, with a leaking second story slab. Highly unprofessional and unethical in their administrative/management department. Can you imagine their "after sales service"??
