Based on recent customer reviews, ThandiBra faces severe criticism for allegedly misleading customers about the origin of its products. Reviewers consistently report that bras advertised as designed and made in Cape Town are actually shipped from China, with many identifying them as identical to low-cost items on Temu or Shein. Customers describe poor product quality, incorrect sizing, and excessive delivery times. Refund requests are reportedly met with automated responses and resistance, with several reviewers citing violations of South African consumer protection laws and accusing the business of deceptive practices.

Ordered 11th February and still waiting. Latest email expect deliver in 2 - 3 weeks! Tried emailing to request full refund, 6 times now, under their T&C's, Exchanges & Refunds #9. All responses AI generated; "Truly sorry, frustration, delay, confusion....blah blah I was then sent a spurious tracking link that shows only 3 stages. All time contradictory. Almost certainly I've lost R695. I should have checked with Hellopeter first.

Big **** as this is a Temu product. Came direct from Temu as stated on label and not Cape Town as advertised. Advert mentions jelly support but bra has foam support as well and poor quality. Very disappointed and very misleading. Please don't fall for this.

A total con - they make it appear their items are designed and made in Cape Town. I even checked their website to make sure what I was buying as the items were not cheap, before purchasing two bras. I did wonder why they took over 3 weeks to arrive. When they finally did arrive, it was obvious they had been nowhere near Cape Town as they came from China and are cheap and nasty - and despite having the same size on both bags, were two different sizes. They are identical to items that can be purchased on Temu or Shein for 90% cheaper than I unfortunately had paid. Check out the website and you can see a great example of deceptive advertising. https://thandibra.co.za/pages/my-story

False Advertising! This company is not local Cape Town, South Africa but is based in China. I asked for my money back literally 2 hrs after placing and paying for an order. They ignored my emails and then responded by informing me it was too late to get my money back as the order had been dispatched. (The policy states they will give your money back if you cancel before it is dispatched). I haven’t received my order but I can assure you due to being sent the updated delivery details it is being dispatched from Mainland CHINA. Misleading and false advertising do not waste your money like I have.

ThandiBra advised me on the size I specifically enquired if the size is not correct or the product does not provide the support - what is the procedure. I was told that they will gladly give me 30 days money back guarantee. now they claiming they do not do refunds on underwear (they only sell underwear) and that they will provide me with a replacement but I need to pay the courier fees. they advertise that they make the bras locally but the bras are courier from JHB and not made locally. the quality is poor and nothing as advertised. they are ****ming people.

The product was advertised as made in Cape Town. After 8 days with no delivery, I looked into it further and found information indicating that the items are sourced from China. This was disappointing, as supporting local manufacturing was the main reason for my purchase. My email enquiries appeared to be automated. Overall, this was an expensive lesson, which I’m sharing so others can make an informed decision. The brand claims over 300,000 five-star reviews, which, based on my experience, I personally find difficult to reconcile. I also noticed that similar-looking bras are available on international fast-fashion sites at significantly lower prices.
