Disappointed is an understatement. After numerous advice from people and reviews read, "DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG THERE, ESPECIALLY A PITBULL, YOUR DOG IS GONNA DIE" I still decided to give AACL EPPING the benefit of a doubt because its an organization that suppose to actually assisting and protecting the health and wellbeing of animals, but to my surprise it was exactly what people warned me about.
On Saturday morning I noticed my 4month old Pitbull puppy hasn't eaten her previous evening's food and her eyes had a yellow discoloration, she was still being her energetic self , but her not eating was concerning as she has a healthy appetite, so I decided to take her to AACL Epping to have her check out, after 4 hours of waiting I finally got seen by the Vet who did not even inspect my dog and just put her on a drip and gave 5 injections and some medication for me to take home and said the dog has Parvo-virus, to which I said I do not think its Parvo-virus as these weren't symptoms of Parvo but he insisted, after getting home i noticed my puppy being much weaker than before she saw the Vet but I thought it is because of the drip she was on. The following day she was even worst then the previous day and I took her back , after another few hours of waiting I got to she a different Vet , who actually took the time to inspect my puppy and found that it was not Parvo at all and that the puppy actually had a infection which could have been treated properly if she was not misdiagnosed the first time around, They just put her back on a drip and another 5 injections and sent us home, by the following morning my puppy was dead, lots of time and money wasted because of the incompetency of someone that should've helped my puppy but didn't even take the time to properly inspect her and just because it was Pitbull she was misdiagnosed with Parvo-virus.Very unprofessional to say the least.
I am so close to reporting this matter to a newspaper to get so media coverage on this unprofessionalism happening at AACL.
