Placed and paid for 2 pairs of ASICS on 22 February 2025 at 16:11. Received a missed call on 23 February 2025 at 10:57, and also received a WhatsApp on 23 February 2025 at 10:37, informing me that the one pair had already been sold in the store. I was asked if I would like to rather purchase a blue pair. I rep**** at 11:03, that the blue would not work as this did not match my club colours. I then phoned at 11:06, and spoke to a gentleman who said that he would send the one pair, and would refund the one, that was sold in the store.
On 24 February 2025, I sent a WhatsApp at 12:42 requesting feedback on my refund, as I had managed to source a pair from another retailer. I received a voice note at 15:59 informing me that refunds take 7 to 14 working days. I queried this as the money was deducted immediately from my account via PayGate, and according to PayGate, the money is transferred immediately into the retailer’s account.
On the Arhlete’s Foot website, the refund policy states that “some” refunds may take 7 to 10 days. Not ALL refunds. And nowhere does it say 7 to 14 WORKING days.
Lastly, why is this shoe being advertised for sale on the website, if the shoe is sold out and no longer in stock?
I have handed over all correspondence and info to my attorneys.
Placed 2 orders at The Athlete’s Foot. Only 50% satisfied. Looking at all the negative reviews, I doubt I’ll be using this company again.
