do not take your pets to this vet

I am very disappointed with my experience at this vet. I adore my dog with all my heart, but she was very sick and couldn't walk or jump. I knew something was wrong because she is usually an active dog that loves to play. When I took her to the vet, a male veterinarian diagnosed her with a slipped disc. He didn't even offer to do an x-ray to see how severe the condition was. His only recommendations were to spend 40000 on surgery or to put her down.

I have since booked an appointment with another vet, who was surprised that the first vet never performed x-rays. My dog means everything to me, and I believe that a veterinarian should genuinely care for animals, rather than just being focused on making money from the suffering of pet owners.
