I have been buying frozen pies from the store in Alberton penzance street for several years. Today was no different, I bought a box of 8 prime steak for the family. We prepped and baked them as usual. Totally disgusting, they are all off. Every single one of the eight had a disgusting sour aftertaste and a horrible almost flour like texture to everything. Needless to say we threw all eight away and will not purchase from country pie again.

Had the worst experience at Country pie Co in Meyerton at the new revamped shopping centre by Pick ‘n Pay .We were served cold disgusting pies by the ****** teller that was serving us , our pies were still frozen when we asked her to warm them up she warmed the pies for 30 seconds , The pies still came out frozen and she was rude and through our pies on the counter. The Teller is fat Afrikaans lady with glasses on your customer service is pathetic and useless , Pick ‘n Pay pies are better than Country pie co

On Monday 2021/06/03 late afternoon I bought a Moya Pie from a reliable chain store in our area as part of our daily shopping , the pie was intended for me as a snack in the car on my way home , but My son (1 Year and 4 months old) also likes to share with me , so needless to say not wanting to mess in the car , I left the pie until we got home. I have bought many Moya Pies from the same shop before without any issues, trusting that the pie that I just bought was of the same quality as all the others I have had, I opened the pie and took a big bite without thinking twice about it. I notice a fowl smell to the pie and I spit out the bite of pie that was in my mouth - I became terrible sick in my stomach when i saw that the pie was rotten on the inside. What if I have given this pie to my child? What would have happened if I did not see the pie was off - We would have gotten food poisoning. I am giving the company 48hours to reply to my complain - thereafter I will be phoning the Health Inspector

I have a complaint, concerning Moja Pie’s that I bought at Madelief centre Pick ’n Pay in Theresapark, Pretoria North. I took a few bites of the beef meat pie today, the taste was bitter. When I cut open the pie, the beef was wrapped all over with mold. The expiring date on the Moja Pie packaged box and pie package is 09/05/2021/ 5th May 2021. I’m currently nauseous with a running tummy. It should not be on customers to make sure that the food you’re selling is fresh. Please address this matter.

After having an issue with some pies not having fillings, Dino from Country Pie Co called me and apologized. They immediately offered me replacement pies and doubled the amount of pies needing replacement. I was so happy and bought even more pies when I visited their factory shop in Bedfordview.

I bought Country Pies from a reseller and according to the website they as a family strive for perfection! We run a hands-on operation and it shines through from the quality of our pies to the excellent service that we are known for. The Country Pie Co. has become a well respected brand and our customers are treated as Family because that’s All they know. Yet when I set out a meal the other day, I found pies with no filling in them...none at all. I reported it to them and its now been two weeks and I have not heard anything back from them at all. The reseller is also ducking and diving me with a promise of bringing me new pies when he is in the East Rand again. So his sales must be bad if he is not frequenting the East Rand. Sad that their promises are not kept.
