We entered into a contractual agreement with a the venue for a company event, which included confirmed accommodation as a material term of the booking.
When it became clear that the agreed accommodation had not been secured, We formally cancelled the booking due to non-performance. Despite this, and despite MONTHS of follow-ups via email and telephone, our deposit has not yet been refunded, even though the supplier has since confirmed a refund and payment schedule in writing.
The lack of timely response and failure to honour confirmed commitments required unnecessary escalation and caused avoidable disruption.
