I bought a vehicle under the condition that it had only scratches and dents to address. The delearship was supposed to address everything before delivery and make sure that the car is up to par. They postponed the delivery by 1-2 weeks so such things can be fixed however it was poorly done. Already on the day of delivery somethings were not met but because I trusted that Toyota is a reputable brand, they’ll do right by me. Things like the full service history was not supp**** as promised and still outstanding till date. Vehicle was not did not got to valet as agreed and was still dirty even after an attempted wash on date of delivery. Seat covers were scattered across the back unwashed as agreed even when I was told they are being washed. Broken glasses were left inside the loading bin and cabin and the rear glass hastily fitted without making proper connections. Lack of oversight. Radio was not working on date of delivery. Permit of the car was invalid. Stopped twice my traffic officers. Bin was not properly secured and fitted. I was told later after constant hassles to get my car back that the bin in skew. I had to be the one to pick up even the most noticeable issues. This is basic negligence and lack of oversight. Kilometres of the car was misrepresented on the adverti*****t and on paper (OTP). In essence, Toyota failed to meet the standards delivery conditions. The basic consideration of even removing the tape after fitting the glass is such a disappointment. Instead they decide to conceal it with the canopy. The manager Ricardo told me that this is what I paid for which is an insult. Being told that I was supposed to receive the car the way it was and the subsequent issues I picked up was right because of the price I paid is so disappointing. Toyota had the right to refuse my offer, it was as simple as that. The fact that I was even able to recommend the Delearship to my mother is just a huge disappointment. To top it all off , an arrogant manager Ricardo who lacks the ability to address customers and take accountability. Then there’s the problematic courtesy. That I’m told I should be “greatful for” for lack of better words. Had to jumpstart it daily or use public transportation.

We bought a secondhand car through RandStadium Toyota, The Glen. STEVEN GUTHRIE, help us with the process. He was brilliant at arranging everything from finance, roadworth, service, extra key, new number plates and collecting it on our behalf... Always available for our hundred-and-ten questions... Steven was AMAZING. He help us with everything and always available... He is a wonderful Representative for RandStadium Toyota, The Glen, he made us feel like family. Helpful with a smile, nothing yo difficult for him to sort out... You dont find service like this anymore- employees dont care about the customers anymore... Sad but true. The reason we keep coming back is because of people like Steven, Pierre, Betty, Mohamed, Carlos, and others that you have working at your branch: They are wonderful individuals, always going the extra mile for their customers, making us all feel very special.YOU ARE ALL AMAZING-Toyota, is lucky to have you working for them. (Carlos and Mohamed retired since.) GREAT JOB.

Thank goodness there are so many other Toyota's in South Africa, when it comes to sales they are all in, but as soon as you have signed the papers, blue tick is your name, there are a few things I needed after the Sale and I just get completely ignored by the salesman, choose your Toyota wisely if you want to be treated like a customer even after you paid. Alberton has awesome customer service. So weird because they now losing future income on services , doesn't add up.

Will never go back there or recommend dealership. Took car for a service car came back damaged. Car was there 2022 for more than 2months with gearbox problems. My fender and door was damaged . They used a rubber melat to fix it. My car is always worse when it comes from there. I never get proof of job card there is always a problem regarding job cards. They never accept the fact that they damage your car making it look like you are the one damaging it. Their workshop manager even called my car a nightmare. My engine cover was cut off and they deny it although they were the last dealership working on my car. Toyota South Africa was not able to assist me.

I took in my car for service on the 20 Jan 2023. I have alwys had such a great service but I must say Johan which was my service advisor on that day was incredibly good and very patient. He allayed my anxiety with regards to the many things I had to replace amd advised me on how to do it each at a time. Usually when I'm frustrated my English frustrates me too 🙂 🙂 but shame he would listen n explain very thoroughly. I realy appreciate his kindness, calmness and more than anything his humility. Thank you so much Mr Johan Matthysen for a great experience at Toyota The Glen. You are a very rare gem I must say.

The service agent called Desire deserved a 5 star 🌟. 1. I called in at around 07h55 to book my car for service for that morning and they said come will make a plan. 2. I arrived at 8h30 and the reception including security guy was friendly. 3. I explained to Desire that i am got need the car by 12h30 instead of 15h00 due to late booking, she said she'll make plan. 4. I was out of there by 11h30 with a clean car and ready to start my holidays! One thing I noticed is that the staff work together like a well oiled machine, and there's a sense respect among colleagues.
