Avoid: Paid to be ignored and shuffled around
Extremely disappointed with the service here. Despite paying an entrance fee, we had to repeatedly ask to be served. We were shuffled between different staff members ('sent from left to right') and spent most of our night trying to get someone’s attention just to order. It was a complete waste of money for the lack of professional care we received. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for an enjoyable night out.

Avoid: Paid to be ignored and shuffled around
Extremely disappointed with the service here. Despite paying an entrance fee, we had to repeatedly ask to be served. We were shuffled between different staff members ('sent from left to right') and spent most of our night trying to get someone’s attention just to order. It was a complete waste of money for the lack of professional care we received. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for an enjoyable night out.

Bouncer assaulted me
I got assaulted by one of the bouncers because I put my glass near the area where the dj was playing, I tried to explain to him that I needed to 2 secs, because my handbag was slipping and he immediately grabbed me and pulled me from the area, very violently. I reached to the manager on numerous occasions , because I was badly bruised and sent him pictures of the injuries. He just ignored me, I had to go to the police to lay assault charges, and no one has reached out. It’s not the first time, I’ve seen how the bouncers treat other women of colour in that place, you are not safe

Excellent meal, very good service
Had dinner there last weekend, the food was surprisingly excellent (didn't expect that as we thought greenhouse was more of a bar) but the food was delicious. The service was really good as well, our waiter was good and well spoken, only thing is he could've checked on us a bit more as our drinks ran out snd we waited a while before we could order more. All in all really good experience and value for money. 5 stars

Excellent meal, very good service
Had dinner there last weekend, the food was surprisingly excellent (didn't expect that as we thought greenhouse was more of a bar) but the food was delicious. The service was really good as well, our waiter was good and well spoken, only thing is he could've checked on us a bit more as our drinks ran out snd we waited a while before we could order more. All in all really good experience and value for money. 5 stars

Loved it
The place is absolutely beautiful, great ambiance, service and vibes. The staff were great too from the hostess, waitress, bar men all the way to the ladies on the Corona station and the DJ who played great music throughout. My friend and I both ordered pork belly, shared sushi and the chicken wings as a starter. She had churros for dessert and I had the chocolate brownie. The food can definitely be a bit better.

The Greenhouse Sandton - Don’t bother!
Unfriendly and unprofessional staff. Don’t be fooled by any positive reviews - they’re all bots. I was so excited to go… and was horribly let down. Trust me when I say that they do not care about their customers. I highly recommend that you go anywhere else. You’ll get better service at a McDonalds. I had an issue at the weekend, and have emailed over 5 times. All I want is for them to acknowledge the email, the issue, and to get a response… and NOTHING. Not even an acknowledgement of my complaint. They’re quick to take compliments, but when there is an actual issue and you need them to respond with urgency, you get ignored. Better hope your order goes through, and that if you get it over 2 hours later after speaking to 4 separate waiters and a manager, and that the food is then terrible, that you don’t want to contact anyone. Overpriced, poorly staffed and mismanaged.
