Just to start of....every weekend my family and i go and dine at different places, and you will never here a complain from my side as every restaurant differ and i respect that. But never in my life will i support the Irish Harp in Meyerton again! We went there yesterday afternoon (Saturday), noticed that the place are not really busy. We ordered three Eishbeins and a Snitzhel and a couple of drinks. After a half and hour we called on the waiter to ask when our food will be ready and he replied that he will go and find out...but never returned. After more than an hour we were still waiting and decided to go to go to the kitchen our self's just to hear that our food is almost done. We decided to leave and go to another restaurant. Just as we were leaving the waiter came with our food. As we were already leaving we ask them to put our food in a take away holder, payed the bill and left. What a surprise we got at home when we finally wanted to eat our so called food....the Snitzhel was so dry....not even to talk about the Eisbeins...all of them was actually just a bunch of fat with almost no meat. (Its a pity that i cannot attach some pics of the bunch of fat here). Like i said ...never will we support Irish Harp, Meyerton again! Next time I will rather go and eat a so called garage pie than eating there again. Be warned. Take care...

My daughter, 2 grandchildren and I went for Lunch at the Irish Harp Restaurant at 40 Loch Street, Meyerton. My daughter, eldest grandchild and I ordered stuffed spuds on the menu - prised at R52 each. I have ordered this of the menu before and could never finish it because of the generous portion. Today however the size of the 'stuffed spuds' were half the size of my fist and it was not at all stuffed. It looked as if one potato was cut into three portions divided into the three plates with with sauce over it and a large salad with raw peppers which we also did not ask for on the side. When the plates was placed on the table I immediately asked the waitress Elizabeth to call the manager as it was really quite ridiculous. She responded by saying the manager is only going to charge us half prise we still asked to see the manager and she told us that she is currently very busy with another table, so my daughter took pictures of the plates and we started eating. After eating the tiny meal we asked for the bill and and the manager came to me and told me that we will get 10% off. I told him that it is ridiculous but he did not care. Irish Harp you will not be seeing me again!!
