Good day. It took me a while to write this. At first i thought to keep it to myself but after another incident and as the subject came up among friends and family, i decided to post this. Let me start. A couple of years I've been shopping at Riverside Mega Mica, Vanderbijlpark. Must say i really like this store! Everything you need is there. Actually it is a very popular store and the usual service is very good at "some" points. Why i say some points? I feel obligated to warn public members, not to try and ask for help at the paint department or rather dont ask this one guy to help you. The rest of the paint department team are very helpful and always willing to give advice. But there's this one worker who is always just standing around behind the counter not willing to help anyone. If you visit Riverside Mica often, you will no that the paint department can get very busy at times. This happend to me a couple of times aswell as some friends....this bloke, i think they call him Mario (short chubby guy, always where a jacket or jersey with the sleeves up, even in summer time)...he never do anything or trying to help his co workers. Everytime if you as public member want to ask for help he suddenly makes if he is very busy on the telephone or the computer, while his co workers are running around and the customers are piling up. If and i say "if" you can manage to get his attention...and ask him where some products are in the store..he just go and ask a co worker. He hardly knows whats going on there..and please dont ask him for advise on paints..then he also call a co worker🤦🏻♂️. I really dont think this guy is suitable for the position as he only get costumers upset and let his co workers work harder. (Must say..that there's a tall guy and guy with a beard...they are excellent, always friendly helpful and willing to give advise. I dont want to degrade the store as this is a grate Mica. But it can be frustrating if you are in a hurry and you get poor service from workers like that. I believe that they will get this sorted out. Regards
Do your self favour and stay away from these guys! .....once again i had trouble with these guys.. Been a while with them...had some trouble before but let you tell the latest.. Due to the festive season i usually pay all my January bills in Desember to assure that i have no hassle during my leave from December to January. Ive made i payment on the 15 Desember to Vaal Networking for the Month off January. (Got the proof and did send it to them via mail). On 03 January 2024 without any e mail, phone or sms notification, they switch off my wifi. When we called them , they said that they didnt get any payments. Long story short...we send them proof off payment and once again payed again with proof ass the rude and arrogant staff told us to do (yet again we also send a new proof off payment (yes ..this is day light *******). For two days nothing happened. Once again we as clients contacting them...and then they say that everything is working at there side so they must send out a technician. We called them on a Wednesday only to hear that the technician wil come out Monday!?🤦🏻🙄. I mean its not my fault its there's. Monday came and Monday go. Still no service from them. Now you must no... We've payed them in full already in December for January and again in January for January (with proof). We had to sit with out wifi till up to date..two payments later for the same months.🤦🏻🤦🏻.. Luckily there's so many other networking services available with better staff that is not so arrogant ..and who wants to help clients, so i counselled my contract due to the fact they put off my wifi on a fault that is on there side....now all off a sudden they must send a technician to come check my equipment (there is nothing wrong with it..with all this heavy rains and storms it still worked 100% until the putted it off ( .....um um another money making scheme....i dont now) The best part..and must admit this is where i started to lough...after we cancelled we received a e mail from "Lizel" threatening us that if we cancel they will come and remove there aquipment.🤦🏻🤦🏻🤣. We mailed them also with proof that the equipment is fully paid.....so yes lets see what happens...will keep you guys up to date But really stay away from them... I wont go there ever again!..went there often...but had a very bad experience last night,...ordered a starter creamy garlic snails...when it finally arrived the snails was still boiling and was burned. Not only that..it was just a mass of butter..and even the toasted bread was soft due to the butter...we almost waited for 10 minutes for the plate to cool down...to eat...but it was terrible..luckily only bite..and we decide we couldn't it this burned butter mass of snails...we asked for the manager..and she only said to us " ai toggie" and left!?...then we decided to go else where. Never go there...this place is becoming a disaster!! Just a pity i cant share pics on here to show the poor food quality!! A table with 3 people behind us, also had trouble and left (can be seen on there sec. Cameras)....but yes Faraday you lost a good supporter..going there for almost 5 years...but never again!!!..
Never in my life i got such poor service !!! And that from a big global company like ADT security services. Please dont even think it over if you want to install a alarm system via ADT . Read this... and say what you would have done !? Staying in Gauteng / Vanderbijlpark area , one Sunday afternoon , one of ADT reps came to our house, introducing this "grate" alarm package. We was in formed that this package includes two door magnets, 3 sencors, 2 remotes and a key pad for only R395 a month with response . Well at first we thought that ADT is a good company and we agreed on the package and signed the contract. Never did we know what hazels and all the troubles we going to get after signing this contract...... At first...almost two weeks after that the contract was signed the ADT technision came out to install the alarm. We almost didnt opened for him as he arrived with an old red vw golf. The old golf wasnt even marked that its an ADT vehicle and must i admit that we didn't trust them already with the crime thats going on, but never the less we opened and the technision started to install the alarm. We noticed that he is not installing the censors and keypad where we want to...and informed him about the mistakes. But he just went on and installed the alarm the way he likes.!? And when we told him that we are not satisfied he reply that we must sort it out with the inspector when he comes out. He went out and never even give us the promised remotes... 1. First of all... we got a long passage, and guess what...he put the passage sensor right agains the corner. ( we asked him to put it right in the middle). 2. This is a laughing matter..we ask him to put the keypad in our main bedroom...but he installed the keypad right under the sensor in the passage. (So what ever you do..the sensor will catch you evertime before activating or de activating the alarm!???. 3. We ask him to put the siren in our living room but no he installed it right at our main bedroom passage...so you can imagine what its like when the siren goes of in the urly morning hours!!...yes its hectic... 4. Its a pity i can't send pictures of all the alarm cables that was poorly done and not even going thru the roof but just glue it up against the walls ... Well we informed ADT that we are not going to pay for work that is not done right and up to customers expectations. We also did inform them..that IF they come and repair the system we will gladly go on with the pay ments. Its going for almost 4 months now...no inspector came out to inspect the work...still no remotes (so now every time we activate or de activate, ADT control room is contacting us - costing them more money for a job poorly done)... and as for the keypad under the sensor we don't have fully use of the alarm system. Mean while week for week they calling us for payments and we tell them over and over we will pay if they come and rectify all their mishaps ... Now today 25/07/21 we got a whatsapp massage from another rep telling us that they will come and rectify everything but we must pay.( Can one believe this cheeck) ?????.....the massage.. """could we perhaps do it on Wednesday, also please have the two amounts available to pay for the original pro rata amount and the remote amount R850 plus R511.14 total R1361.14. please let me know."""...... And later, this one... """Fidelity ADT VTL: Final Demand: Your account DUP04096 is overdue with R1182.00 Failure to make payment in 14 days will result in suspension of service""" Now they want to charge us for promised remotes and paying them for work that is not done right from day one???? This is day light robbery. Well im not going to pay a cent until they come and fix their job. Then they can rather come and take out their alarm system. There are plenty of other security company's but be warned...this is how ADT is operating!! This struggle with them going on for 4 months is a nightmare!!! (They even tried to switch names to deducted pay ment) ****** Do your self a favour.....stay away from ADT!!!*****.
Good day: Please can you help me log a complain to Nedbank Vaal Mall. Vanderbijlpark Currently I am banking almost every week cash deposits off a round about R 500 000 to R600 000. For busness. That gives you every month between 1 milion to 1.5 milion. But ever since the corona out break the security gaurd working in front of Nedbank Vaal mall got a problem with my apereance. Due to the kind of work i do outside the sun im wearing a cap with glasses on. At first when the security saw me he ask me to remove my cap before entering...after a argu he told me its because of the corona?...i told him i cant remove my cap because of my un neat hear and that im looking reducules..when i remove the cap...and i ask him what or where is it stippulated that a cap brings corana...but he couldnt answere me....? Mean while other client sitting in the bank are wearing caps...beanies and all sort of head covers? Since that day every time this security gaurd sees me..he is giving me trouble about me wearing caps???? Yesterday he forst me and told me on a rude manner and in front of other clients to where my cap backwards before i can enter..but like above other clients sitting with their caps and beannies on.?? Today the same thing happened again...also after a argument i showed the same gaurd that the man sitting infroclien me is also wearing a cap...??...but he couldnt answere me. It is clear that this gaurd dont like me at all...and is going to give me a hard time everytime I visit Nedbank Vaal Mall. Just for the record the staff inside knows me very wel and always treated me in a good manner since ive started depositting at Nedbank Vaal Mall 5 years ago. Due to this gaurd...im on a brink to start my big deposits into another bank and informing my clients to change from banks. But before i will do that..i would like to hear from Nedbank what they think about this security gaurds attitude...? This is the only branch in South Africa where you must where a cap backwords...and if this is for security perpusses...why are other head covers permitted that also hide the top face for cameras??? To be honest this incident really let me think of the saga of Clicks...where one is justified because of your appearance and a security guard mimiss use of so called "security" power.
Just to start of....every weekend my family and i go and dine at different places, and you will never here a complain from my side as every restaurant differ and i respect that. But never in my life will i support the Irish Harp in Meyerton again! We went there yesterday afternoon (Saturday), noticed that the place are not really busy. We ordered three Eishbeins and a Snitzhel and a couple of drinks. After a half and hour we called on the waiter to ask when our food will be ready and he replied that he will go and find out...but never returned. After more than an hour we were still waiting and decided to go to go to the kitchen our self's just to hear that our food is almost done. We decided to leave and go to another restaurant. Just as we were leaving the waiter came with our food. As we were already leaving we ask them to put our food in a take away holder, payed the bill and left. What a surprise we got at home when we finally wanted to eat our so called food....the Snitzhel was so dry....not even to talk about the Eisbeins...all of them was actually just a bunch of fat with almost no meat. (Its a pity that i cannot attach some pics of the bunch of fat here). Like i said ...never will we support Irish Harp, Meyerton again! Next time I will rather go and eat a so called garage pie than eating there again. Be warned. Take care...
